No, it isn't "normal". If it was normal, they wouldn't call it "low" would they??? And 75/55 sounds low to me although I am definately NOT a doctor.
You need to see a medical professional and get some good advice straight away.

What is your pulse? Who is taking your blood pressure? Are they using a cuff that fits you well? If you're feeling ok, not light headed or faint at 75/55, I wonder if the cuff is correct for your size. 100/65 is slightly low but not bad as long as you are feeling ok...Are you drinking enough water? If your pulse is between 60-80 beats per minute, and youre not dehydrated, I wouldn't worry too much..Get a good physical to rule out any problems. You may just be one of the lucky conditioned individuals such as Lance Armstrong..Do you exercise a lot? There could be a number of reasons for this.

Ur blood pressure is normal now. If u fell dizzy when u suddenly stand up, it might be normal. Some ppl are like u. But u should go to doctor and check ur blood and heart. They will get rutine exame from ur heart. But ur blood pressure when u were younger was high. Stress, obisity, salt, bad diet and genetic are some factors that have effect on blood pressure. Try to drink water more and alittle salt just a little and u should get multivitamine.

There is no such thing as normal. Low blood pressure is a good thing, unless it goes so low that it makes you feel bad. My "normal" blood pressure is around 100/60 but it has been as low as 88/48 and I had no symptoms or problems. With BP, the lower the better as long as it doesn't cause any problems.

My blood pressure is about the same as yours, and I feel wonderful all the time. It's never given me problems. I'd sure rather have it this way than to be worried about having high blood pressure. Are you taking your b/p with one of the machines? If so, it could be that it's not registering properly. When you go for a checkup, does the nurse or Dr. say anything to you about it being so low? My Dr. thinks it's great and just grins.

There is a medical condition that one of the main symptoms is low blood pressure. It is Neurocardiogenic Syncope. Google it. It can make you feel like a zombie and lose all interest in anything. Low blood pressure can cause you to pass out and have siezures, it also affects a lot of people and there are support groups to help. It changes your quality of life. I have had to retire from my job and go on disability. It has been shown to run in familys also.

Low blood pressure is NOT normal.
Blood pressure is the pressure of blood within the arteries of the body. Blood pressure is the driving force that causes blood to flow through the body from the arteries (where the pressure is high), through organs, and into the veins (where the pressure is low). Blood pressure is generated by the pumping of blood by the heart into the arteries as well as by the resistance to the flow of blood by the arteries. The systolic blood pressure (the top number) represents the pressure in the arteries as the muscle of the heart contracts and pumps blood into the arteries. The diastolic blood pressure (the bottom number) represents the pressure in the arteries as the muscle of the heart relaxes after it contracts.
Systolic blood pressure for most healthy adults falls between 90 and 120 millimeters of mercury (mm Hg). Normal diastolic blood pressure falls between 60 and 80 mm Hg. (By convention, an individual’s blood pressure is written as systolic/diastolic blood pressure, e.g., 120/80). Current guidelines define normal blood pressure as lower than 120/80. Blood pressures between 120/80 and 140/90, which used to be considered “pre-hypertension,” now are considered too high. High blood pressure increases the risk of developing heart disease, kidney disease, hardening of the arteries (atherosclerosis or arteriosclerosis), eye damage, and stroke.
Low blood pressure is blood pressure that is so low that it is causing symptoms or signs due to the low flow of blood through the arteries and veins. When the flow of blood is too low to deliver enough oxygen and nutrients to vital organs such as the brain, heart, and kidney; the organs do not function normally and may be permanently damaged. It should be noted that unlike high blood pressure, which is defined on the basis of blood pressure alone, low blood pressure is defined primarily by signs and symptoms of low blood flow. In fact, some individuals may have a blood pressure of 90/50 and have no signs or symptoms of low blood pressure, and, therefore, not have low blood pressure while others who normally have a blood pressure of 130/80 may develop symptoms and signs of low blood pressure if their blood pressure drops to 100/60.

First of all don't listen to all the hype.
The so called "normal" is what the average pressures for the general public would have.
This seems to be a long time thing for you and this is obviously "YOUR NORMAL"
I too have what is said to be low BP or Hypotension. Yet I still give blood and have no effects from it either. It is what your body wants to be at.

I belive you want to know that it is a way to make it normal: drink coffe, exercise a little, breathe more when you are bored and intro more salt in your diet.it works! Is not the matter of how you feel when is low, because it could kill without a notice. On me it almost did , i was in the same place as you with my lowest of 60/60 and lower . they brought me back with electric shocks. Go see a doc!

one thing to remember is that your body does not read a textbook. there are people out there who walk around with a blood pressure of 90 systolic. iv had patients whose blood pressur was as low as 80/46 and encountered no assosciated problems. if you go to the loo regularily it means that your blood pressures high enough to perfuse your kidneys and all your organs. if you have no symptoms dont worry bout it:)
