depends on the hospital.
if your friend is in a private ward, you can visit anytime & stay as long as you want.
let's pray for her.

I'm really sorry to hear that, you need to contact the hospital and see if they are even letting anyone besides family members in to see her and what times they will allow you to see her. That is really sad to be so young and suffer such an ordeal my prayers are with her. Dont expect her to be the same or to even recognise you right off,it may take awhile, just let her know that you are there for her as her friend and you will help her get through her rough ordeal.

if she had a stoke or brain surgery she will most likely be in intensive care and if you dont get special permisssion from her family or dr you can not visit, she will have tubes and IV'S coming out of everywhere she is probably on a resperator and i dont think she will be able to talk if you do see her just squeese her hand give her a wink and a smle and show her a card if you bring one to her and read it, she wont be up for a lot of visits so go by what the family tells you

most hospitals allow visitors at most times during the day. a good policy is between 8 am and 8pm as long as your friend isn't in intensive care there is usually no limit on visitors. for ICU the limit is usually 2. and ICU visitors are limited to 12 and older usually special arrangements can be made in some circumstances

Every hospital has it's own regulations. I would call and ask them. Generally, I believe they can have have two visitor and it is best to not stay more than ten minutes as the patient is resting and will appreciate your visit if it is kept short and sweet.

intensive care allows so many people at one period or just one at a time depending on what condition the patient is in as not to overwhelm the patient with to many people at one time.Call the hospital see what their guidelines are.

You can expect that it won't be a fun place, duh. Stay only a short time. They will only let a couple of people at one time into the room. Be brief and don't complain about our own problems. Be cheery and positive and realize that this is the down side of life.
