I had an ablation in October and am doing so much better. I cannot believe after all of those years of heart rates which popped up in to the 200's it is finally over. I was told more than once I was having panic. I knew all along they were missing the boat andmy heart needed medical attention. I had AV node re entrant tachycardia and sometimes my heart would stick at 240 until I recieved the dreaded dose of adenocard. I would like some re assurance that I will not suddenly out of no where start doing it again.
I am not joking. I have outdated bottles full of xanax and alprazolam because I was told I was having panic attacs. No way was that a panic attac. I havent done it since the ablation but just think it may pop up again.

I am a nurse in an EP lab that performs ablations, although I have never had one myself. Are you asking in general, or do you have any concerns that I can help you with? Is this something you are considering, or have you had it done already? Are you still having symptoms?
Both of my brothers-in-law had ablations, and they have been symptom free for several years.

ADDEND 8/29: Sounds to me like you're cured. If an ablation isn't successful, the arrythmia returns within a month or two. If you haven't had any symptoms since last October, I believe they will not be coming back ever. You can flush that Xanax :>)
One of my brothers-in-law had AVNRT like you, the other had Wolf-Parkinson-White. Both had successful ablations several years ago. Neither has ever had any symptoms return, and neither has had any negative effects. Like you, they are so happy to be free of that feeling.
Glad yours was successful.
