If chelation therapy works so well, why don't more doctors perform this therapy versus by-pass surgery, etc?

i am a bit confused can someone helo me out. here's the thing if someone goes to the hospital for a panic attack and a doctor finds 100% blockage and decides to do a stent the following day is that considered a heart attack?! the thing is my mil a while back had a stress induced panic attack of course caused my the daughter in laws and she said she had chest pains. she went to a cardiologist after a few months of chest pains who did test and sent her home. later the next day she had a panic attack and went to the e.r. the doctor said it was panic but during routine exams for complaints found 100% blockage. they then waited til the next day and did a stent and sent her home. now they are saying she had a heart attack but the doctor said she almost did so who's correct?! my dad had a heart attack at 31 and i've inherited a few heart problems myself and we go to cardio doctors normally but she doesn't. i'm confused.

Ugh. I am having a cardiac cath today. I am only 45 and a thin vegetarian who is active. I had a virus that damaged my heart. This is very difficult for me to accept.

My husband accepted a meeting at work at the same time as my cardiac cath, four days after he said his schedule was clear and 4 days before the procedure. He sent me an email of the meeting setup and asked if I could get a ride. I did, but I was hurt. This is not the first time work has come first. Last night I found out he has 20 days of vacation time stored up. (I would have thought he would have put in for a vacation day as soon as my cath was scheduled.)

In general, he is a good man. He helps out around the house and is sweet to me, a good provider, but work comes first.

Now this morning he is watching tv before he goes to work. He is so busy at work he can't get out of a meeting, but he is watching tv before work.

Is this as bad as it feels to me?

Recently I have had a lot of Stress to cope with which has increased my Blood Pressure. I have been taking Renitec 20mg for 7 years and it has kept my blood pressure in check and I have been fine on this but recently it has risen again even though I am still on on this medication. I have been told that Vitamin B and C or Garlic will help lower Blood Pressure. Can you please tell me if this is right. Thanks.

I'm only 17 years old and I've had this problem for a while now (probably a couple of years) but my heart hurts sometimes. I don't know how to describe except for that it just starts hurting and if i move my left arm the pain will somewhat spike or if i breath in.

I'm 26, not overweight, and have always eaten a low salt diet. I do exercise some jogging at least 20 miles a week in addition to hiking and other activities. I don't believe I'm overly stressed. I've tried cutting my salt further to below 1000mg a day to no avail.

My blood pressure is 135/75 meaning I have pre-hypertension, but based on my family history, I will have hypertension at the rate I'm going.

They are conscious for a reason correct? To tell the doctor how they are feeling throughout the procedure. Smoke repeatedly told the doctor that something was wrong and that he was in pain. (He had gone through this procedure before and knew what discomfort to expect.) The doctor him "well some folks are more sensitive to pain than others" and ignored his pleas. Turns out that the stent had torn the vessel. Any thoughts?

Yesterday i my heart began beating a bit faster than usual and then i had this sudden pain beetween my stomach and chest. The pain was so severe i couldnt help screaming for help. I was having trouble breathing and was sweating alot. The pain went away when i drank some hot water. I dont know if this has something to do with my heart, the pain wasnt in my chest but a little lower.

For tracing TOF after corrective surgery, i accepted some tests. Though MRI and Tl-201 test, my doctor told me i have "single coronary artery". i often feel pain in my chest, taking almost one bottle of NTG per month (and rare Isorsobide) . Several weeks ago, i went to ER for my chest pain and heart palpitations, doctor gave me Oxygen for few hours then pain disappeared. Till now, the pain has been controled.
Is it dangerous?
