Yesterday i my heart began beating a bit faster than usual and then i had this sudden pain beetween my stomach and chest. The pain was so severe i couldnt help screaming for help. I was having trouble breathing and was sweating alot. The pain went away when i drank some hot water. I dont know if this has something to do with my heart, the pain wasnt in my chest but a little lower.

Chest pain, shortness of breath, and sweating are symptoms of heart attack. I would definitely get to the doctor ASAP.

When it comes to a possible heart attack I certainly would not be ignoring that and would be checking it out with a Dr. right away! On a related note though, a person having spasms in the esophagus or bronchial tube could also have such pain. It's happened to me due to asthma. Water often would stop the spasm. But if I were you I wouldn't take a chance with something that serious. You should find out if there is any sign that you might have had a mild heart attack.

There are things that can mimic a heart attack. One is Acid reflux. It can cause pain, tightness in the chest, just like a heart attact. It is odd that your symptoms went away after you drunk hot water.

Anyway you do not need to take a chance. I think you need to call your doctor and let him run some test to make sure it is not your heart.

If this happens again before you see the doctor, try taking some antacid to see if your symptoms improve.
