cardiovascular is pertaining to blood vessels or organs that are heart related or go to or from the heart. Coronary is the name of the arteries that feed the heart muscle. Therefore, a clot in the vessel could be referred to as a coronary thrombosis.

CAD (coronary heart disease) is an abnormal condition caused by a blockage in a coronary artery wich supplies the heart blood and nurishes it if a coronary artery blocks more than something about 60 % it may cause an ischemi in a part of the heart`s muscle and thus an ischemic herat disease is observed

Coronary heart disease describes the CHANGES in the coronary artery walls. The changes are usually due to thickening (atherosclerosis) of the arterial walls due to deposits of cholesterol. Ischemic heart disease specificially means decreased blood flow to the heart. It is usually the final stage of coronary heart disease. They are sometimes used interchangably, but ischemic heart disease SPECIFICALLY connotes reduced blood supply terminating in unstable angina (chest pain) or myocardial infarction(heart attack) Hope this helps.

CVD involves not only the heart, but the arteries, capillaries, veins, and possibly the lymphatic system. CHD involves only the heart muscle itself.
