I got what looked like an insect bite on my left knee a few weeks ago. It got quite sore but once it burst I thought nothing of it. A few days later both legs became really itchy, but no redness or spots or anything... until about a week later I got what looked like another insect bite on my right leg, and then a string of little red dots on my thigh. I went to the doctor and she said I have a contagious skin infection, but it could be contained to my legs and treated with antibiotics and cream. That was a week ago and I'm itchy all over and have just got a few of these spots on my face! I'm so worried, the medication hasn't worked at all and its spreading. I dont even know the name of the infection, but my friend had it recently and her doctor told her to scrub the spots (to break them) with a nail brush and hot water. I've tried this but no luck. Has anyone here experienced this? I'm getting so worried now, and its very annoying having to wash all my clothes at 90°. Please help!

I was diagnosed with Vertigo in March 2005, almost three years ago. I saw a nurology specialist who conducted CAT scans, EKG's, MRI on the brain etc, all of which were negative. Spent a week in hospital. He then referred me to an ENT specialist who conducted a hearing test (my hearing was fine), also a EKG was showed very little wrong, test on my TMJ joint were also fine. I was prescribed over the years, duirtects (which had little effect) reduction in salt in my diet (didn't work), serc (didn't work), bonamine (a type of meclizine- didn't work). I have now been dealing with this- as I said for almost three years. I have had lateral vertigo constantly, it feels like i am on a boat. I do not get any spinning motion, thank god! However, my day to day life is affected, I have problems standing, sitting, laying down. The only relief is in the car, as the car is moving. Just wondering if anyone had any recommendations.?? I can provide more details if necessary. thanks

Every time I've had the flu in the past, I've gotten it only once in a year, and normally it's in late winter. When I've had the flu in the past, it's been so severe I've had to go to the hospital.
This year, I am just now recovering from the flu... I did not have to go to the hospital... it seems the same as in years past, just not nearly as bad. Also, it's really early in the season for me to get the flu. Do you think that I can get it again this winter?
I'm worried because it really affects my ability to work (because I work with infants and children). Thanks in advance for any help or knowledge you have!

Ok so I have a Clinique powder (it's the only makeup i use all over my face). I know Clinique is a hypo-allergenic non-comedogenic brand, but is it possible it broke me out?

On the outer edges of my face (where I have never had a break out before) I few weeks ago (after I bought the powder) I felt little bumps under my skin, and now I can see small red dots where I felt them before! Could this be the powder?

P.S. Does anybody know how to get rid of them? They don't have heads and are tiny, but there are a bunch of them, and they are really annoying little red bumps!

Usually my resting heart rate is between 75 and 85(Sometimes even lower than that) but I am sick with a cold and a fever right now and my heart is going at about 100 beats a minute. Is that normal? I am drinking liquids.
Also, is getting sick like this once a year(sometimes I will get a little cold at other times a year but the fever usually just one a year around this time), mean my resistance is pretty good or not? I can't STAND fevers. Even just 99.5 ot 100 makes me feel so weak and achy. I don't like feeling weak.

Im just wondering if many people have heard of it. It is a very rare heart cancer. My sister passed away a few years of it, and when I told people what she died of they looked at me like I was crazy.

About 2 months ago, I was placed in the hospital after the biopsy they did on my left kidney went wrong. The needle went too far and punctured an artery in my kidney. It took alot of time and procedures to get the kidney to stop bleeding and functioning well again. Well, recently after having a renal scan, my docor told me that my kidney isn't functioning well at all. In fact, he said that I have a very poor functioning left kidney. He said that the wise decision is to remove it sense there is too much damage done to try and repair it. He said that my right kidney is in good health though. He also said that sense my blood pressure is stablized and I'm not in any pain, that he would want to wait to remove it due to the scar tissue around the kidney from all the procedures I had done in the hospital. I know that people live normal everyday lives with just one kidney. I guess my question is what will I need to change in my life to make sure that I am taking care of my last kidney?

Alright, so just to let everyone know, I have a doctor's appointment set for tomorrow, I just want to see if anyone has gone through what I am experiencing or has any tips to make the dizziness subside without a prescription (I will more than likely get one tomorrow, but I don't have it today)

When I went to bed on Christmas Eve, I took my 10 mg Zolpidem (generic for Ambien). I had not had the pills in a few days. About 10 minutes after I took the pill, I started getting much more dizzy than how I feel when I normally take it. I couldn't even move my head without the room spinning. I thought it might have been because I hadn't taken them in a few days and that it would subside when I woke up. It did not go away when I woke up, and it lasted all day and is still here today (1 1/2 days later). What could be causing the dizziness? I'm not nauseated any more, but I still have to be very careful walking through the house. Any means of getting the dizziness to go away will be appreciated.

I don't sit anymore at work to help my circulation it seems to help. What else can be done? I am ready to do what it takes with any suggestions I will be muchly greatful.

answers on here and reading on some medical pages. That anything in the 50's is what athletes have but that my BP is far too high. I am in shape and active, playing football and tennis normally, but I also have been in an office environment job for 8 months. Before this job I had my BP checked and it was normal, about 115/75 with pulse in the 50's. Any ideas for the change and what exactly it means that my pulse is so low, but my BP is so high.

Three years ago, my wife had a small pimple on the middle of her chest. She did pop it out, but it's been growing bigger and bigger. Now, she says that it starts bothering her. A year ago, I took her with a doctor, he said it was a sort of skin infection but if for some reason she takes it away it will grow even bigger. Can you let me know, if you know more about it, please?

I was bitten by a tick in Mississippi in '05. The doctors said that the test showed lyme, but then again they said I didn't have it because ticks are not in the southern states. I have had meningitis, fatigue, eye twitching, (not palsy). Now I have developed pain in my joints. The worst ones being my ankes and my hands. Both ankles, both hands. What do I do. Because the doctors are saying they don't know what is wrong with me.
