Alright, so just to let everyone know, I have a doctor's appointment set for tomorrow, I just want to see if anyone has gone through what I am experiencing or has any tips to make the dizziness subside without a prescription (I will more than likely get one tomorrow, but I don't have it today)
When I went to bed on Christmas Eve, I took my 10 mg Zolpidem (generic for Ambien). I had not had the pills in a few days. About 10 minutes after I took the pill, I started getting much more dizzy than how I feel when I normally take it. I couldn't even move my head without the room spinning. I thought it might have been because I hadn't taken them in a few days and that it would subside when I woke up. It did not go away when I woke up, and it lasted all day and is still here today (1 1/2 days later). What could be causing the dizziness? I'm not nauseated any more, but I still have to be very careful walking through the house. Any means of getting the dizziness to go away will be appreciated.

I'd been taking the Ambien for 4 months and then was off for 4 days. The pharmacist seemed to think that I may be on too high a dose, but I've been taking it for a while and had no issues. I hadn't had anything to drink that night, let alone in the past month. My ears don't hurt so I don't know if that could be it.

The only other medication I am on is Yaz (birth control) and it's never interacted with that before.

I'm sorry, but I think I would know if I had alcohol. I haven't had alcohol in months.

I've had a little bit of a headache, but it's probably because I clench my jaw when I am not feeling well. The headache feels more like a sinus headache and it is not that bad. I've been a little stuffy while this has been happening.
