I seem to get the Uti's when we are sexually active, my bf has been very careful about cleaning himself to try and reduce the uti's but it doesn't seem to help. Was wondering if using condoms might reduce the risk of uti's b/c any bacteria he's carrying would remain in the condom. I guess I'm just tired of taking antibiotics and am fearful of gaining a resistance to them. any help would be appreciated.

my stomach won't stop making noises. it grombles all the time, it stops sometimes just for alittle bit after i eat and thats if i eat small pourtions every 2hrs. what could be causing this ?

and it is amazing. It got rid of most of my pimples in one night. The only thing is, it irritated my skin and made it itch. I want to keep using this because it's the only thing that helps my acne, but I don't know what to do about the irritation. Is is just because my skin isn't used to it yet? What should I do?

I am 19 years old and I have OCD and a phobia of HIV. So I am always worried that there is HIV in everything I come into contact with basically.

I made these Idaho instant mashed potatoes. There were a couple of black specks in my mashed potatoes and I didn't know what they were and so I picked a speck out and smeared it on my hand and it smeared a line...

Is this dried blood that was in the package that I cooked? I am really scared right now!

I was outside for like 10 minutesjust now, in maybe like 10-20degrees farenheit

when i come back in, my right hand';s pinkey is like puffy, it's like a little bigger than the other one. it doesn't hurt, but it feels weird when i try to curl it up

I went to the olive garden after going christmas shopping. I had been sick with a cold earlier in the week but I thought i was over it. I had salad and bread and just a little lasagna. I also had one and a half Sangrias. When i got up to leave I felt dizzy and my ears started ringing. I wanted to go outside but knew I couldnt make it out. Next thing i knew i woke up on the floor - i had passed out for 30 seconds. I also had vomited while unconscious. They called 911 and they took my blood sugar - 145 and my blood pressure was 102/68 which is normal for me.They commented that i was very pale. I felt better and didn't go to the hospital. Today i feel weak but kinda the same feeling after a night of drinking. What do you think caused this?

I'm taking my first course of genetics in college.
In our lab, we conducted an ELISA experiment. After running on gel electropheresis, we observed one band from the gold standard. we had 3bands for non-tumor tissue from a cancer patient. we had 2bands for tumor tissue from the same patient and therefore we concluded that the patient was inherited the germ-line mutation and she or he developped a mutation during life time.
My understanding was that mutation can create a cutting site.
However I had another ELISA experiment that does not support this idea.
In this eperiment, we had 2bands for gold standard, 3bands for non-tumor tissues from a cancer patient. we also observed 1band from tumor tissue from the same patient. Can mutation delete a cutting site? I do not really understand how mutation can create and delete cutting sites. Depends on what kind mutation it is, results seem to differ. Can someone explain this to me please?

I'm very thin (110 lbs / 5'5 / 18 years old male), and I look rather unhealthy. My bones are very thin as well, and all of my muscles are very weak, very.

I went to the doctor the other day, he said that I'm all ok, nothing wrong with me.

I'm worried about my bones and muscles more than my weight, that doesn't mean that I'm not worried about my weight though!

There is a movie called "Thinner", a lawyer is cursed by a gypsy to lose weight...and lose weight...and lose weight...
Maybe I've been cursed by a gypsy?......

I don't actually lose weight, I'm just stuck at 50kgs, been for 2 years (Even after increasing my calorie intake).

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with me?

-Whenever i stand up from a lying position, often, i would experience "flashes" in my eyes. It will take a few seconds to recover but during this period, you can't see anything except lights of colors that are hard to describe. It is like your eye being stunned by flash grenade...

-Not only this, my skin also twictches very often. I can also feel throbbing in my head(you can feel heart pumping blood to your brain, contracting and expanding), as if it is going to explode. I also feel very giddy most of the time This is the most serious symptom which make me really uncomfortable.

I suspect that those problems are caused by insufficient blood flowing to the head. I went to the doctor for blood test but everything turned out fine, including my blood pressure. I have this symptoms for five years. I am 17 years old now. The doctors can't do anything to help me and i am starting to give up hope on treatment.
