It has been suggested that there is a link between sugar and acne, but I'm not sure if anything has been proven. Sweat? I don't think sugar causes sweat, sweat protects your body from heat and stuff...

Over loading on greasy food, chocolates and other sweets has been known to cause inflammation of the skin (acne). Don't cut these foods out of your diet just try to limit your intake. And drink plenty of water everyday at least 8 ounces of water. Sweat does not cause acne but can leave behind bacteria on your skin if not washed off.

I shouldn't think that sugar would as your not necessarily rubbing it on your face... unless of course you are.
Sweat on the other hand is a liquid which goes on your face. I'm pretty certain it would block pores, but then again sweat is salt which could clean it out.
Conclusion: Check on Wikipedia?

I never heard of either one causing acne. Obviously if you sweat, you should wash up afterwards.

I have read about a link between milk and acne.

yes, because it continues to set an acidic environment in the body...even though it doesn't taste like acid...it produces that as a by-product....use what i did....recording from independent achievement productions called remove the sugar addiction...it's a cd you just listen to 15 minutes a day for 2 weeks and then you no longer crave sugar.....sometimes i would even sleep during the cd...but it worked anyway
