I am 19 years old and I have OCD and a phobia of HIV. So I am always worried that there is HIV in everything I come into contact with basically.

I made these Idaho instant mashed potatoes. There were a couple of black specks in my mashed potatoes and I didn't know what they were and so I picked a speck out and smeared it on my hand and it smeared a line...

Is this dried blood that was in the package that I cooked? I am really scared right now!

Please help!!!!!

It's probably just spices or an additive for flavour. No need to worry. HIV isn't THAT easy to get, although if you really are suspicious, don't eat it.

Those are the 'eyes'. Peel a potatoe and you'll see a few in every one.
