I am thirsty alot and has have the urge to use the bathroom i have lost all my energy i play basketball and i used to be able to run run run and not get tired and now i cant do it i eat healthy and exercise daily but i have been getting sick alot lately im thirteen years old could i have diabetes? my grandma and grandpa and one cousin have diabetes type 1

My dad just went to to hospital today AND is it possible that if your a heavy drinker that it can lead to appendicitis? Because i was told that appendicitis is caused by kidneys swelling and pushing against your abdomen on a regular basis and the pressure that causes the additional sweating to the Appendics is the reason you get appendicitis...

Any other information about appendicitis would be helpful too..

My doctor told be that every sexually active girl that has come into his office has the std HPV. thats not the first doctor that I know has said something like that. Does everyone have HPV?

Well, I've had high blood pressure for over 6 months now. My doctor just keeps telling me to come back again at a later date to check on it again but it's never gone down, and he doesn't do anything about it. It's now reached !50/110 when I'm stressed. This worries me like crazy now that I'm going to drop down dead at any moment which doesnt help the bp probably.
What should I do? do i trust my doctor in knowing whats best for me or can i do something about it?

Here is my MRI report

L2-3: Normal
L3-4: Small central posterior annular tear, no significant disc buldge, herniation, central canal stenosis or neural foraminal narrowing
L4-5: Mild diffuse disc buldge and minimal bilateral degenerative facet hypertrophy
L5-S1 Minimal bilateral facet hypertrophy

Cervical spine:
Cervicothoracic alignment: there is straightening of normal lordosis
Intervertebral discs: Multilevel degenerative desiccation

C2-3 Normal
C3-4 Normal
C4-5 Evolution of the previously noted disc buldge into a small disc osteophyte complex
C5-6 Bilateral degenerative uncovertebral hypertrophy
C6-7 Normal
C7-T1 Normal

I have been in chronic pain for almost a year. I had a c spine MRI done in Jan and was told it was "normal" I was sent to a chiro for treatment (cervical strain, thoracic outlet, carpal tunnel) Started treatment in May and have made no progress! i'm worse now and my lower spine is KILLING me (which he adjusted)

I never had a problem with acne, other than a pimple here and there during my menstrual cycle. I thought I'd use proactive to take care of this, but now my face looks terrible after using the product! I have pimples everywhere! This happened immediately after using this horrible product, I kept using it thinking it will get worse before it gets better but it just kept getting worse. I've stopped using it after 3 weeks and now I have acne scars, new pimples every day (painful ones). What should I do? How can I get rid of these zits and pimples? I'm to the point of considering a dermatologist, I dont know if my insurance covers it thougth. What products would you recommend? Any suggestions please!

I am 19 years old and have been having chest pains on the left side for a bout 5 years. No body in my family has heart problems. but every now and then, i will wake up in the middle of the night and not be able to move and can not feel anything but shortly go away. I get them a few times a week in the evenings but they do not last that long. My head....well, mainly my ears are really clogged up. I'm deaf in one ear so, it's driving me nuts. I can feel the pressure and my ears are ringing. I've been taking decongestants, but they don't seem to be doing any good. I've left a message for my doctor and I just need some advice on what I can take until he calls me back. This same thing happened to me last year and my eustachian tube collapsed and I was almost deaf for 3 weeks. I'm trying to keep that from happening again this year. Help!! Hi all ok ive been studying animal management for a couple of months now and have been working in a cattery for about 7 months. I also have two gorgous cats. I have seen a parasites video today in class and its given me some facts about toxoplasmosis that i didnt know like its not curible as it goes to the brain and stays there. Im panicing really bad im 19 and want children in a couple of years but feel where i have worked in a cattery and have handled hundreds of filthy litter trays my chances are going to be pretty high of having the parasite. Im worrying that i might not be able to have children now or if i do they will get affected with the parasite ive always been worried about infertility and stuff and this has just made it sooo much worse specially as i could of avoided working with cats etc. Am i just worrying over nothing or is there some truth in this? Has anyone had children who have worked with cats without implications? sorry about spelling mistakes etc.
