I've been experiencing itches on my scrotal sac for over 6 months and all prescriptions by doctors haven't taken care of it. Is there any home remedy for this condition?

You've been to a doctor so I assume you've been checked for crabs. If not, get check for that. You don't have to have sexual intercourse with someone who has it to contract it and the main symptom is itching in 'private areas'.

If you don't have crabs then I would reccomend washing with a shampoo that has tea tree oil and salilic acid, immediately followed by drying and spraying the area with benadryl spray. I good soap for this would be the Neutrogena face wash for men. It comes in a black tube. Put a light moisturizing oil or lotion on it before you go to bed at night. Keep that up for a few weeks. This is either caused by dryness (the oil), irritation (the shampoo), or allergy (the benadryl). One of those should work.

I would suggest using an anti-bacterial body wash, make sure the sac is completely dry (not even moist) and apply corn starch to the entire area. If it is going to work, you should experience some relief in 6 - 12 hrs. Also, check to see if your skin is allergic to the type of material of your undershorts. Sometimes briefs have an adverse effect on the scrotum - try boxers.

I'd go to a walk in clinic and pay the fee. If it's some sort of transmittable thing he's gotta go to a doctor. Did he have a little too much fun with the wrong person? I've heard spring break can cause these typse of things.

why are you itching? if the prescriptions didn't cure it then you have been misdiagnosed. Do a search on the web for your condition to make sure you are being treated for the right condition.

Do you have eczema?

My husband used anti-itch cream that's made for women. Oh and you itching is not due to lack of washing. It's most likely fungus, just like jock itch. So get a girl to go buy you some cream and try it.

Only thing I can recommend is that you have a clean body, clean underwear, and possibly some talc powder on everyday.
