I just recently read an article talking about digestive enzyme capsules helping treat eczema. I have had eczema since I was 6 months old (now 26) and have recently been diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome. My question is, would digestive enzyme capsules help with both my eczema AND IBS? And if so, can anyone recommend what kind to get and where? I have found several on GNC's website. Anyone have any experience with these? Thanks for your help!

I've had it off and on for about a week or so. Don't know what could be causing it. I've heard acid reflux, pregnancy, etc. I had some increased burping over the past couple weeks, but it has subsided; had some acid once in awhile. Negative HPT's and blood preg tests, so I know it's not that (took those because I'm normally paranoid and wanted to be sure! :) )

Any thoughts? Yes, I'm going to go see the Dr., just wanted some insight. Thanks!

This has happened to me many times over the years. Normally, I can blow my nose, or clear my throat, and hack up the food. But last night, I got some shredded ham, that was on top of my chicken provolone lodged in there, and I can't seem to get it out. Also, isn't that unsafe to have food in there without the acids and enzymes to break it down? Doesn't bacteria thrive on something like that? I'm afraid I'm going to get sick from it.

I really don't know the lingo well, but the situation: person has already been told there's pretty much no hope - doctor suggested end-of-life care. Patient says wants to try chemo anyways. Doctor says giving her one huge "dose" of the strongest "mix"? they have. Patient very, very frail, barely eating. So I have a couple of questions.
Can people that are pretty much at end of life, in such a condition, handle this? As in, can it do more damage than good?
If someone is getting the strongest, most potent dose of chemo, how long does it generally take for the side-effects to start?

This was the patient's decision, even though the doctor wasn't crazy about the idea. My fear is that she's going to pass on violently instead of peacefully. She will be in a pallative care situation, but they will take her for chemo if she decides to continue. Thank you kindly for your time.

i have a 2.75 year old , who attends daycare 2 days a week. i have caught many colds from her since she began daycare, and knew this was a possibility. i am now especially concerned because i have had 4 ilnesses in 7 weeks; 2 full blown colds, another with high fever and rash, and a stomach bug with vomiting diahrhea.

can this be normal? shouldn't i fight off half of these? i am beginning to wonder if i have an oppressed i mmune system or if i should get an hiv test. i used to get sick maybe once a year, now it is literally 6-10.

thanks for any thoughts.

I am desperate for answers. This has caused me to get fired from jobs, almost fail out of school, made me depressed, hurt relationships with friends and family because all I want to do is sleep. I'm been struggling for so long...anything help would be good.

Every day a new study intimates that science has gotten something "wrong" on treatments, remedies, etc. What has been considered unhealthy is healthy and vice versa. Cancer treatment, usually Chemo, Radiation has always worried me. Seeing a healthy, energetic person suddenly become frail, helpless and then die after excrusciating "treatments" makes me wonder if patients survive as a "result of" or "in spite of" treatment.
