A blood test has said I have Herpes, but I have never had a break out. My face is always broke out tho. I am 26 and I have been thinking it was acne, but could it be the gen. Herpes?

My legs get an awful burning sensation in the shin area - burning like hot coals.
The burning is there 24 hours a day, sometimes it eases but never goes completely. Sometimes it gets so intense that I cannot sleep, or touch the skin on my legs below the knee. It feels like sunburn but without the holiday!!, and can be accompanied by a slight discoloration of the skin/light rash.
The doctor has failed to reach a diagnosis and says I must learn to live with it.
I am in my mid sixties, female and physically fit and active.
Can anyone help? any suggestions on what it could be would be appreciated.

So many people have it, yet no one seems to have accurate information about it!!! I know my doctor didn't do a good job about explaining it, but that's why I bought books and did my own research. I've had TMJ for many years. Today I notice that my face is numb, above my upper lip and up into my nose, and above my lip it is swollen. As if I received a novacaine injection -- only I didn't. No bug bites, no baseballs to the mouth. Haven't eaten anything different to cause a reaction or tried any new cosmetics. Do you think this strangeness could be due to the TMJ?

Yesterday I started my day as usual. Made the kids some pancakes and bacon. They didn't eat the bacon but I did. The bacon had been in the fridge in a sealed bag for about 8 days. Didn't think about that before I cooked it. I then had some coffee with some half and half that I opened the day before. The sale by date is Oct 2007. I think it's fine though my husband says it tastes nasty but not spoiled. Anyway, about an hour after breakfast I started getting dizzy and feeling queasy. After about two hours I was puking. By the third hour I couldn't stand without heaving. I didn't feel better until about 4:30 in the afternoon. Still a tiny bit dizzy and quesy, but much better than yesterday. Could it have been food poisening?

I got a bacterial eye infection...and theres no way i can see a doctor or get a prescription for a new drug
so im using my old ones that i found..its only 3 months after its expired. is that okay? what could result if i do take it.

I had filled my Allegra prescription at a Walgreens in my college's hometown, and when I picked it up, the pill looked different than normal. I called my mom and described it and she said it should be ok. I took the pill for a few days, but it wasn't easing my allergies at all. Yesterday, I refilled my prescription at a CVS in my hometown, and it looked the same as it always did. Is there a phone number I can call to see if it was in fact Allegra, or should I just call my allergist?

When did you find out? Also, how do you know? Did you have warts or an abnormal pap? Did you have that new test done? Are you a guy who's had sex with a girl who had it? What?

Also, what were you told by your doctor?

I'm just curious because I've had it for a while now and I had to do all my own research because my doctor totally left me in the dark about this. I'm just curious to see if anything has improved in the last 10 years concerning how the medical profession handles this.

my boyfriend complains of tingling, stabbing, hot needles, and sharp tension in his back and legs. hes one of those types who wont go to the doctor for anything. but i got scared when he actually made a doc appt.(that means its really bad) about a couple months ago while he walked his feet would not respond to movement causing him to trip. like when he went to step his foot wouldnt move and pretty much be paralized for a minute or two followed by burning hot sensations also losing other motor skills and progressing. sometimes he has to pull over and let me drive. now what accompanies his severe pain are little bumps on his hand. not blisters or rash they look like little tiny warts. and when his pain is less the bumps go away. i thought it was shingles but he doesnt get rashes or chickenpox like sores. and another funny thing is im starting to develope the same symptoms and i had a few sore days with 1 bump idendical to his on my hand. what the heck is it?

i also have bad stomach pains every three weeks. I Have had heaps of blood tests and also a colonoscopy but they showed nothing. I also have painful bowel movements and can be on the toilet up to 10 times a day. Please help!!!!!!!!!

i have been awake for an hour and have had seven sneezing fits, each with about twenty sneezes each. its constant. i cant even make a phone call. anyone else have this in the spring? it is tiring, thats for sure.
