my boyfriend noticed that he had a rash on his armpit and we just thought it was because of his deoderant or something. But it hurts him really bad and he works out with the corp everyday so it bugs him even more. He went to the university clinic and they told him that it was staph and that they need to slice open his underarm and take the pus out. What we want to know is, is the slicing necessary? we don't even really think it is staph.

I went to Washington DC this weekend, and while there got a pretty gnarly sore throat and the day I got back (I know this is probably TMI) my bowel movement was a very strange yellow color, and was today again, and today around my belly button, more so toward the left has hurt excrutiatingly bad to the point where I am on the verge of tearing up. Is this neccesary of doctor attention this soon? What might help this? thanks

COPD is an acronym for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease. My wife has fought bronchitis for the last two or three years. She recently came down with a severe case of double pneumonia. After that was cleared up, we found out from a pulmonologist that all of this caused by COPD, although she quit smoking over 20 yrs. ago.

i was diagnoised with Prostate cancer 18 months ago. i had an biopsy done and out of 12 biops only 1 cancer cell showed up. I have recentely lost my urologist due to insurance. He explained everything too me and for forty-five minutes I listened along with two of my children. After all was said and done I decided on the "wait & watch". He said something else may kill me before my prostate cancer. He said if a male lives long enough he will have "prostate cancer".

Now to the new Doctor, a Navy Dr. that I am not thrilled about. First of he does not believe in the "Wait & watch" theory. In December he wants to do another biopsy regardless what my PSA level reads. My PSA was 5.2 last examination, and anything over 4.0 you should have a biopsy.

This Navy Doctor does not believe in the "watch & wait". He wants to do another biopsy regardless what my PSA level is

Should I go see my original Urologist even though I want be covered with Insurace; i.e. just for a second opinion.

My ear and side of my head burns after 20mins on the phone. I change ears and it is good for a little bit then have to swap again. I have used several different mobile phones and they all feel the same if having a long conversation. My hands free car kit is the only thing that works but is not always practical. I do not know of anyone dying of over mobile use ,YET!

I just bought a 40 pint dehumidifier for my 400 sq ft efficiency apartment, which is actually in a basement.

The dehumidifier has a setting for humidy % desired, as I'm sure they all do, but I don't know if it will shut itself off immediately, or if I need to get a hygrometer to regulate the RH of my home.

I understand that they shut themselves off when the water container is full, but does anyone know if it is typical for a consumer-grade dehumidifier to shut-off when it reaches its desired RH%?

If not, how long should I run it at a time?

HAs anyone ever had to have a Holter Monitor and an electrode falls off? I put the electrode on, but if keeps falling off every now and then. Is the test worthless at this point, or will it still be ok even though it has fallen off a couple times?
