I had a fair skin..on going out for a trip..i started darkening and now that i have crossed 30yrs ..the sink seems to not gain colour. Its tanned and dark. How can i make it fair again in less time..

I am 39, was diagnosed in '99. I've been able to maintain a somewhat normal life with physical therapy, chiropractic, etc. But was told after my last x-ray, that I WILL need surgery, probably sooner than later. And I am terrified.

I have been doing a lot of reading on the HPV virus and vaccine and recently one of my friends was diagnosed with it. I went for my annual and my results were normal. I heard that HPV can lay dormant in the body up to 10 years and her doctor told her that the vaccine would still work if the virus was dormant and you have not been diagnosed. Does anyone know if this is true? I am married and monogamous but also paranoid and thinking about getting the shot for my safety. It has been approved for women 9 - 26 so I only have a year left to get the shots.

I have Rheumatoid Arthritis; most of the time I'm fine, but other days my wrists and ankles kill me. My MD wants me to try Methotrexate, but it can have so many bad side effects. Does anybody else think that different foods can affect RA? I stay thin, so weight doesn't seem to be an issue. Any homeopathic remedies?

I passed one kidney stone already last Wednesday and I have another one and the pain is exhausting!!! I am going to a urologist tomorrow morning. They said it is a size 4mm. It is costing me time off of work. It is really starting to disrupt my life. I do have pain medicine from the emergency room. I just keep taking off of work. Any advice on this subject.

I have chest pains and pains in the area around my chest. Sometimes I double over in pain from it. I haven't had bad pains in a while but I have a slight one now. Sometimes its on the right side and sometimes it's on the left side of my chest. Sometimes I have a sharp pain real quick and then it goes away. My cholesterol's good, I'm in good shape. I've had my heart checked out and the doctors say it's fine. The pains just won't completely go away. What do I do.

Alright iI havent had sex in a long time. One night I have masturbated then my pee started burning, and everytime i went to go pee it would take awhile for it to come out. Then after a few days my pee doesnt burn no more, and after i masturbate it would still take awhile for my urine to come out when i got to the bathroom. But when i dont masturbate my pee would come out almost normally. Can some one please tell whats going on with this? Thank You.

I am asian american and have pretty tan skin. I noticed spots on my neck and shoulder going down to my arm. These don't hurt, itch or anything of that matter. They just look bad. I was once told to use selson blue shampoo but that doesn't work. What is it that I'm dealing with, how do I get rid of them...and how long will it take?!

I just found out a week ago that my blood sugar level was high. My Doc has told me that other tests need to be done this week, to determine which type we are dealing with. Because of the black outs, and lethargy; should I be driving? I have had episodes in the past where I've had to pull over, that frightens me! i consulted specialists n they just said i am considered healthy carrier, meaning i am not contagious and its just that i may not be able tro donate blood and othe organs.y problem is that i am applying for immigarnt visa for america.i am anxious if this condition would stop me from being approved w the visa.my question is would i be able to get an immigrant visa even if i have hepa b even hough i am not contagious?i was tested for aids n vdrl..all are negative.in my family my mother has hepa b.my brother has too.i am 37years old now.i have been to specialist n they just said i am okay n there are no medicineor no cure, as long as i stay healthy and i will be fine.please tell me if do i have the chance to work in america with my health status.by the way my husband has no hepa b.were married for 17years now.please help me..i feel so depressed...my medical check up for immig visa would ne 2months from now...im so anxiuos...

My friend told me the other day that after being very drunk he peed on his coffee table. Another night he fell asleep and forgot that he was eating. Ended up flinging spaghetti all over his couch. He drinks very heavily and has for a long time. He hardly ever eats anymore. Is this a sign that he is in the last stages of alcoholism? We have tried everything to get him to get help, but he refuses and denies that he has a severe problem.

My 7 yr old daughter was very sick when she was 2 &3. She had very high fevers that wouldn't break w/medicine and lasted many days at a time. She would get many rashes. One was petechia. She also had much joint pain without swelling. Doctors would diagnose her and then come back and say they were wrong. They still don't know what was/is wrong (she still has symptoms without fevers). She hasn't been through tests in a while and she now has new symptoms. We go to the lake during the weekends and she always has red across the bridge of her nose onto her cheek bones. We use sunblock and she doesn't burn anywhere else. Also, her eyes (mainly her left) swells a little, itches and hurts. It goes away within a day after returning home. Can anyone please tell me what is going on with my daughter? The specialists that her pediatrician said were needed don't seem to have the answers. What the doctors thought she had... Kawasaki Disease, Chronic Mono, Parvo, Leukemia but... she didn't
