I have chest pains and pains in the area around my chest. Sometimes I double over in pain from it. I haven't had bad pains in a while but I have a slight one now. Sometimes its on the right side and sometimes it's on the left side of my chest. Sometimes I have a sharp pain real quick and then it goes away. My cholesterol's good, I'm in good shape. I've had my heart checked out and the doctors say it's fine. The pains just won't completely go away. What do I do.

It can come from changes in the muscles in your back and chest. Chest wall pain....it is muscular and may mean that there are imbalances in your muscles. I had something similiar and I saw a good chiropractor and it went away completely. Good Luck......but get another opinion too.

no matter if that's intermittent is it probable muscular: Spasms or tight muscle tissue. If it retains for some days at the same time as it takes position it may well be pleurisy, an inflammation of the liner between the lung and the contained in the chest wall. That feels like a sharp stabbing soreness. over the counter anti-inflammatories like ibuprofen or naproxen regularly artwork, yet in some circumstances require prescription doses.

A lot of times when the doctors find no reasons for the pain- they usually diagnose it as stress.

Ps. I've seen 15 year olds visiting heart doctors.

You may have acid reflux from eating too much junk food or fried foods. Try an anti-acid and see if that helps the pain. Mylanta is a good one. If that doesn't work, see your doctor. Just because you are young doesn't mean you can't have heart problems. Tell your parents or guardian.

See a cardiologist and have some tests done. Age does not exclude you from heart problems.
