Between 07-2005 and 11-2005 I was having sex with this girl, well she is my ex and she had a boyfriend when we were fooling around. So in 02-03-2006 I went to get tested for STDs and HIV and everything came out ok but now I'm asking myselft should I've had waited longer to get tested or was that long eough, what do you think???

I know that it is usally transferred through sexual contact and contact with genitals but what about sheets and towels? If a person wipes their area with a towel and then you use the towel are you at risk? Are you at risk if you use the same sheets or sleep in the same bed? What about if a person touches their area then touches you, can you get it? What if a person has a open wound or a closed healing wound and you touch it? Is it transferred? What about kissing, open mouth and kissing on the cheek? What about hugs?

is anyone else taking this type of pain med? I have bad reactions to codine products (nausea, dizziness). Does this make you dizzy, drowsy? I guess what I am wondering is if I can take it at work and not be sleepy or loopy all day?

1991 was diagnosed as allergic to MERCAPTO MIX. Soo.. all rubber products, latex, waxes, various oils and so on. It makes wearing shoes a total nightmare because of the rubber-based glue they use. I get severe contact dermatitus.
Am also allergic to all nuts and apples.
HAS ANYONE ELSE OUT THERE GOT THE MERCAPTO MIX/RUBBER ALLERGY?? How do you get by with shoes, and what substitute is there for cortizone - as I have been using it on and off now for 15 years!!!

I live in MI and am suffering with a cold! I had a sore throat, chest congestion, nasal congestion and low grade fever the first day and a half. Now it is all in my chest, loose but still coughing!! Does anyone reccommend Mucinex DM? And does anyone know how long the nagging cough will last???

It's not dizziness or vertigo. The best way to describe it is lightheaded. I had a VNG today which is suppose to determine if it's an inner ear or vestibular problem, but it came back normal. What other conditions could be causing this? Serious answers only please.

The nurse informed me that I had chlamydia. Immediately after finding out, I asked my boyfriend about it. He got tested twice, once after he found out I had it and the second time to make sure he didn't have it. BOTH times they were negative. He took the test before he was given the medication, afraid he was going to get somethng from me.Without thinking of a retest, I immediately took the medication that was prescribed for the std. I have so many questions as to how this could have happened. Is it possible that I could have been misdiagnosed? I was a virgin when we started dating. He's never been unfaithful, but has had one sex partner before me. I know it's been two months, and I already took the medication, but is there a way to find out I was misdiagnosed for something else and not an std? PLEASE HELP!

skin peeled on head of penis?
about 2 weeks ago while in the tropics, my penis began to sting slightly. upon closer examiniation i noticed a very small, barely visible white discoloration on the ridge of the head. it did not appear to be raised or sunk. i then noticed that the skin all over the head of penis had begun to peel. i had to manipulate it a little bit, but the head of my penis was certainly peeling. within a few days, both the discoloration and the peeling were gone. does this sound like herpes? i had unprotected vaginal sex once like 2 years ago and have never had such symptoms. i am uncircumsized and some sunscreen may have come into contact with my penis before all of this happened (allergy/chemical irritation?), but i am not sure. i know i need to go to a dr. to be sure, but any thoughts are greatly appreciated! im kinda freaking out! is this typical/possible herpes? thank you

Now that smokers and future smokers know the damage that smoking can do to their bodies, should they be allowed free NHS healthcare if they then suffer with a smoking related illness or should they be made to pay for private healthcare?

Should there be a smoking insurance that covers this that they should have to take out (just like car insurance)
