skin peeled on head of penis?
about 2 weeks ago while in the tropics, my penis began to sting slightly. upon closer examiniation i noticed a very small, barely visible white discoloration on the ridge of the head. it did not appear to be raised or sunk. i then noticed that the skin all over the head of penis had begun to peel. i had to manipulate it a little bit, but the head of my penis was certainly peeling. within a few days, both the discoloration and the peeling were gone. does this sound like herpes? i had unprotected vaginal sex once like 2 years ago and have never had such symptoms. i am uncircumsized and some sunscreen may have come into contact with my penis before all of this happened (allergy/chemical irritation?), but i am not sure. i know i need to go to a dr. to be sure, but any thoughts are greatly appreciated! im kinda freaking out! is this typical/possible herpes? thank you

I don't think that it is herpes, or any other type of std. this is because most std's that affect such areas become evident within a few weeks or months. don't worry as much, but yeah, go see a doctor about it.

I doubt it's herpes. I'm not sure, but I think it's a usual effect of humid environments on an uncircumsized penis. I know (not because I saw, but I heard) from living in a tropical environment wiht an uncircumsized guy, that his foreskin peeled off like that.

In the tropics were you swimming alot? if you were then it was probably from overexposure to the water. Herpes is clusters of blisters and unprotected sex 2 years ago would not show up as a std so late...it would have been shortly after exposure...so you are fine.

that dose not sound like any STD i have read about,, i could see if u had bumps,, or discolouring like a redish or purple colour,, i think it sounds like dead skin,, or like u said dryed sunscreen.. or! if u jerk of with a condom,, it might be dryed lube. but for sure not an std
