if you donate blood to the red cross and something is wrong with your blood but you didn't know. Would the red cross notify you and tell you that something is wrong with your blood that you donated?

I have sleep apnea.
I have a horrible time with bad dreams. I've only been using my Auto-pap since february and often I tear the mask off my face when I am sleeping.
I have the dreams all the time but they seem worse when I wake up without the mask. My dreams are of family and friends who have died. They are either in a dilapidated house with lots of creaky stairs and hidden rooms, or in the house I grew up in. I wake up scared to death.
My question. Do you think when I stop breathing it triggers the dreams?

I have had a painful tooth, and gum on my left lower side of my mouth for about two months. The pain is getting unbearable. I have no job and no insurance right now. I am using mouthwash, hydrogen peroxide and sometimes some clove oil on the affected gum at night just to be able to get some sleep.

Anybody out there got any suggestions. Please help

I get reoccurring reddish hives, more like red spots with no particular shapes all over my body; they come and go through out the day. I have visited the doctor several times and I am taking a lot of itch medication but I still have severe itching at night. This has been going on for a week now. I don’t know the cause or an effective treatment. Help!!!!!!

my only love, a really special and intelligent male 26 in san antonio texas, has left many times over the past 10 years. He cheated on me, lied to me and basically it was somewhat emotional abusive. I know i did wrong and so did he. but we were persestant. we wanted us to work. however, a year ago he left for good. This past aprkl i made contact with him because i needed to tell him that my time had come. Facing a terrible battle of cancer, my options are limited and now only 1. I would do anything to talk to this person, but i know it would be emotional and very hard. I saw this male back in April and it was thes best day of my life, however, he had sex with me and then told me he didn't want to have anything to do with me. I later found out he had a girlfriend. Devistated? to say the least.. But what do you do when you are given a few weeks, if that to live. Is it worth it? I guess if it was he would be here right? As for the meantime, I live life as if it were my last day,

My fathersuffered from cerebral atrophy and had very restricted movements, mostly was bed ridden until his last at 66yrs.We were told that his father too died facing similar problems at 58yrs of age, with limited knowledge of medicine during those days.My elder sister, the eldest of the three of us who is 39yrs of age now has started feeling all the symptoms similar to that faced by my father. She wobbles, cannot walk straight, and falls down which is more like sudden jerks. What troubles us is that her condition should not get worse. She is married to our first cousin from dad's side and we are worried about the health of her two boys aged 19 and 17yrs.Infact we are all worried about the future health conditions of our children. My sister, brother and self have two kids each.To add up to our worries is our uncle, fathers younger brother who is also facing similar health problems. The doctors told my sister that the problem being heriditary, there is no medication. Please help.

This is the case even after your cholesterol level is lowered once you start the medication.

How much come does it take to become infected with HIVS. If you get a little in your mouth and then spit, but some was left. Or if a little got on your butt and it eventually got in your anus. Does it take long for HIV to become a 'dead' virus outside of the body.

I recently went on a date with a girl who told me that she has herpes. I was shocked I'd never met anyone with an STD. We never slept together. I did alot of research on herpes and talk to people about it.
2 months ago I had unprotected sex with a girl. I have not had any symptoms of herpes. But recently I became a bit paranoid and began checking my penis. I check atleast 10 to 15 times a day. Every mark and little bump turns into a mountain to me. I've had not a typical symptoms, I have noticed a weird sensation on the right side of my penis, I think it may be psychosomatic.
I think the sensation might be cause by masterbation, 5 to 7 times a day.
I'm scared to see a doctor.
Can someone develop their first outbreak 2 months later. Is their such thing as a mild case of herpes? Do the outbreaks look like the ones in medical photo's for the most part?

My daughter is nervous about recovery time for her upcoming T&A. She's 9 y/o.

The posted info I can find seems to be standard 7-14 days. I'm looking for anecdotes to tell her when she'll start to feel better/not be in pain, rather than the standard "14 days til you can do sports."

When did you or your children start to feel better or have less pain?

(I was 20 when I had mine out- didn't eat solid food for 2 weeks, so I'm not much help as a role model here!)

Thank you in advance!

Hey, if anyone else has Keratosis Pilaris, maybe you could give me some advice. I have KP on my arms, thighs, shoulders, etc. It wouldn't bother me as much if there wasn't so much scarring; but I have been scratching the affected areas for quite a while, and now there are scabs/scarring to go along with the KP. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to treat KP fast, like any good exfoliants or creams? Or can anyone relate to this situation?
