How much come does it take to become infected with HIVS. If you get a little in your mouth and then spit, but some was left. Or if a little got on your butt and it eventually got in your anus. Does it take long for HIV to become a 'dead' virus outside of the body.

Viruses are microscopic, which means that a droplet smaller than you can see, hear, touch, taste, smell or notice can infect you. The virus does not live long outside the body, though.

There is no specific time as such to get infected but the virus dies if it remains for even five to ten minutes outside the body.
