yes there is several pills for asthma. Flovent is just the first thing used to treat it. Asthma caused by allergies can be helped by nasal sprays; singular; and other medicine. Tell your health care provider that you hate FLovent and ask about albuterol pills - or singular - or onr of the new inhaled drugs on the market. Do you use Xopenex nebulizer? albuterol MDI inhalers? talk to your doc

I am 37 and had my last asthma attack about 5 years ago. Some people grow out of it, but some don't, I used the primatene mist tablets for quite awhile but they are hit miss. aside from that just try monitor what type of situations set it off and avoid them if possible.

Yes, there are pills for asthma. Prescribed and Over-the-counter. Talk to your doctor to find out what options will work for you. Take care.

I believe there are drugs that can be administered by a doctor that have a longer lasting effect. Perhaps you find a specialist...or if you belong to an HMO, contact them for an appointment.
