I have had a painful tooth, and gum on my left lower side of my mouth for about two months. The pain is getting unbearable. I have no job and no insurance right now. I am using mouthwash, hydrogen peroxide and sometimes some clove oil on the affected gum at night just to be able to get some sleep.

Anybody out there got any suggestions. Please help

Please go to Emergency in a dental school or hospital. You might need a root canal,But if you can't pay for root canal ,at least get the infected tooth opened so that pus can be drained, which will relieve you of pain. Also you might get some antibiotic and pain killers. This might get you some pain-free days until you manage to get the money/insurance for root canal. But please don't leave it unattended.

Brush your teeth gently to dislodge what it stuck into your gum. It is infected and you really do need to see a dentist. You can explain your situation and most dentist will help you on a payment plan of some type. But in the meantime you can Gargle with peroxide or warm salt warm after you finish brushing your teeth. Sometimes a pinch of baking soda on the sore gum will help draw out the oozing where it is swelling. You must do this very often and especially after meals to try and keep it clean as possible to prevent more infection. The peroxide will kill the bacteria and maybe give you some relief. But it won't cure the problem and you will need to get it fixed. Also take 2 Ibuprofen with a little food to help with the pain and/or fever every 4 to 6 hours. Please don't hesitate too long before you see a dentist.

You need to have that looked at and taken care of, even if you just have it pulled.

Others have said it, but i wll repeat it ....
and infection or abcess in a tooth can BE FATAL.

Please take care of it ... a hosp has to see you ... worry about the bill later ... or call a dentist and ask if they know of a low-cost or free dental clinic ... many community colleges have a dental hygenists training where you can get a tooth pulled.

Do whatever you have to, just don't let it go!

Find an emergency room and get that tooth out, you could have an infection and if that infection travels to the rest of your body, you can be in for big problems. I just got my wisdom tooth out, i suffered for 3 days, but that's all i could manage. I also had a tooth taken out like 1 month ago, it had a hug cavity, Please go to the emergency room, every hospital has a dental surgeon .

Take a pain killer and I'm not sure if using mouthwash is the best decision, because of the alcohol content. The perioxide should help! Also, you can look online to see if there are any free clinics in your area! =)

You should really get it looked at before it becomes more serious and then you will have to pay more money.

Here is a site that offers free or low cost dental care links. Some hosptials sponsor dental clinics for free.
