I recently went on a date with a girl who told me that she has herpes. I was shocked I'd never met anyone with an STD. We never slept together. I did alot of research on herpes and talk to people about it.
2 months ago I had unprotected sex with a girl. I have not had any symptoms of herpes. But recently I became a bit paranoid and began checking my penis. I check atleast 10 to 15 times a day. Every mark and little bump turns into a mountain to me. I've had not a typical symptoms, I have noticed a weird sensation on the right side of my penis, I think it may be psychosomatic.
I think the sensation might be cause by masterbation, 5 to 7 times a day.
I'm scared to see a doctor.
Can someone develop their first outbreak 2 months later. Is their such thing as a mild case of herpes? Do the outbreaks look like the ones in medical photo's for the most part?

If you had herpes, you would be in a lot of discomfort, and masturbating would be out of the question. You would notice massive outbreaks on your genital region (key note: especially on the head of your penis). If they are little bumps that appear every now and then, they can be cysts or little bumps that basically look like pimples, they tend to disappear in a couple of days.

From the sounds of it, you're just too paranoid with this situation, and I doubt you have herpes. An outbreak usually lasts a week and the bumps are very red.

So to answer your questions, no there is no such thing as a mild case of herpes. You either have it, or you don't. Your outbreaks will come and go. And yes, outbreaks are basically the same ones you see in medical photos.

To put your anxiety to rest, work up the courage to go see your doctor and he will give you the exact same answers that I just gave you. They are highly trained professionals and deal with the same scenarios, and worse every day. They are there to make you comfortable and aid you.

So simply put, take a deep breath and relax!

Hope this helps.

definite, there is not any. Herpes is led to by potential of a virus. incredibly, there is little treatment for viruses in recent times. the only ingredient which you would be able to oftentimes do contained in terms of a viral an infection is improve the immune equipment and want it fights it off. no longer with Herpes, the immune equipment won't be in a position to win against it. consequently you purely get to handle the indications. as quickly as you're contaminated, it continues to be with you for existence. So don't get contaminated. very own journey. I even have had genital herpes for over 5 years. the #a million Herpes treatment application?

I know next to nothing about STDs other than what everyone's taught in high school health class, but I do know that if you're going to have sex, you need to be checked. It's for your health and safety.

You don't necessarily have to see a "doctor" like in a hospital. I think most people worry about it getting around or something, but there are special clinics everywhere that specailize in STD testing. Most, if not all, are free...and they're definately confidential.

Here is a good place to start. I know you looked up specifics, but this should help you know a little more about testing. Also google free STD testing and so on.

I sincerely hope that you have nothing wrong and that you are encouraged to always wear protection. :)

It is actually not unheard of for someone to not develope symptoms for years after contracting herpes. So yes I agree with the others, you should go get checked out.

That is Herpes Type II. Have you asked which type she has? Because Type I lives in your mouth and you will get cold sores. Some people have one outbreak in their ENTIRE life while others have it more commonly. You may get an outbreak years down the road and thats it

As a male you would see an outbreak as Painful red blisters on your penis however any female you have unprotected sex with could have them internally and spread them unknowingly. You should worry more about AIDS and use a condom....herpes are forever too!!! Get a hobby ...
