Alternative Medicine - November 2007

I knew someone who had a big book that listed all symptoms and what deficiency (vitamin or mineral?) it meant you were low on. Then she had these corresponding little pellet-pill type things that she would put under her tongue. Anyone know what I'm talking about, what it's called, and where you can get them?

what helps you sleep better at night besides a sleeping pill. Ive taken ambien cr 12.5 and it works great but just cant afford to pay for them. currently taking over the counter meds for sleep. doesnt work great but trying to find some other options.

A friend has lukemia and has started attending classes on some kind of altnerative treatment having to do with sticking acupuncture needles in a 'voo doo doll'. Sounds crazy, but supposedly it has a 98% cure rate.
