I just researched all the ingredients in my regular haircare and skincare products and I'm really shocked at how many of them are classified as possible carcinogens! Will I benefit from choosing organic / natural / herbal / homemade personal care products? Just wondering as I've been using synthetic products all my life and haven't suffered any ill effects. Although natural is probably best in the longterm. What do you guys think?

I drank three tablespoons of mineral oil to help with constipation and to try to clean myself out, but nothing has happend. It's been well over 24 hours.

I read that I should drink it in something. So, I drank it with some coke. I drank half of a juice glass of coke with the mineral oil.

Any ideas of what happend? Did the coke mess everything up? Any suggestions on what to do?

Please help!

I have pretty bad shy bladder syndrome, and it drives me insane sometimes. I'm a member of a forum for people with this problem, and I have practiced using public bathrooms with some success, but it still interferes with my life. Although I'm on the road to overcoming it, are there any things I can do in the meantime to make it easier to go? Since I'm not 18 yet and we have rules at my house, I wouldn't be able to see a doctor or take any kind of remedies for this problem, but are there certain mental exercises, foods that help with anxiety, etc. that I could try? (I know people often suggest running water or listening to music, but I've tried those and they don't really do anything...) I appreciate any constructive input, but I'd prefer if people didn't just joke around or give mean answers...
I know I've asked this before, but I keep getting the same two answers; I appreciate that those people care that much, but I'd also like to hear other people's suggestions.

I have a heart problem, bad valves, irregular heart beat, congestive heart faliure, and am on 5 different meds for all that.

I dont sleep well, and am cutting out all my caffeine. I need to find something to give me a pick me up, that wont screw with my sleep any more than it already is, and wont effect my heart rhythms.

Any suggestions??

I have 2 cans of soda everyday with my lunch and dinner. I don't drink coffee, alcohol, or smoke, but with the caffeine I have from my sodas (and candy), could that make me feel anxious?

What would be good drinks to replace soda with? I'm afraid I'm so used to drinking caffeine, that I might get headaches if I don't drink soda.

Thanks!

Hello,

After feeling run down for several years and multiple Doctors shoving anti-depressants at me, I found a great Doctor who wanted to check my vitiman levels before giving me medication ( what a novel idea right).
The results of my test show a deficency in b6, b12 and L-serine. The Doctor said that an L-serine was a pretty rare deficency. I have had a difficult time finding much more than BASIC information on this amino acid.
I am wondering what I can expect to feel after taking 1500mg (that is what was approprite doseage for my defincey). What benefits might I see, and does serine have anything to do with the production of seretonion?
Thank so much!

I do not have any energy. I am a stay at home mom as I am cleaning cooking, or tending to my 2.5 yr old. I feel the overwhelming need to sit or lie down (most tasks are left incomplete). I usually sit for more than a 20-30 minutes at a time. Even after I have rested I get up to do other things and I still feel like I need to sit back down. I do not have any "urges" to be intimate. I do not always sleep 8 complete hrs but I do take occasional naps one and half to two hours a day. My moods are triggered easily and most times they are not good ones. It seems like my husband arrives and with in an hour I am already mad at him for no good reason. I do not smoke, I drink maybe every 3 months and no more than 3 drinks. I do not eat much fast food nor do I frequent restraunts much. I cook at home I rarely fry. I eat Rice, Eggs & Chicken - frequently, red meat, pork & turkey - seldom, I do not like fish (except tuna). I eat a variety of Fruit & Vegtables though I must admit not enough.~Thanks
