I was very curios to find out what is this co Q 0 is and I found this. I use CoQ10 in daily basis, and it help my hearth a lot, but I dont understand much what is this.
Lately I become a member to CHAGA international. A very powerful antioxidant made from siberian mushroom.
mychaga.com I order it, my husband is using it for diabetes, If you are interested in this one, I will let you know how it works.

Immunochemical identification of coenzyme-Q0-dihydrolipoamide adducts in the E2 components of the a-ketoglutarate and pyruvate dehydrogenase complexes partially explains the cellular toxicity of coenzyme-Q0
Coenzyme Q0 (Q0), a strong electrophile, is toxic to insulin-producing cells. Q0 was incubated with rat and human pancreatic islets and INS-1 insulinoma cells and its attachment to cellular proteins was studied with Western analysis using antiserum raised against the benzoquinone ring structure of ubiquinone (anti-Q).

Hi Dog! CoQ is an antioxidant and a critical component of the electron transport chain in the Mitochondria of your cells.

As an antioxidant it is involved in the 'Antioxidant Network'. This network is made up of numerous vital nutrients (e.g. vitamins C & E, Lipoic Acid, etc.) that work together to combat oxidative stress in the body.

In the Mitochondria, CoQ is needed to produce energy (ATP) and to protect the Mitochondria from oxidative stress.

CoQ is made in the body from the same biochemical pathway that the body uses to make cholesterol. Consequently, the use of statin drugs (e.g. crestor, lipitor, etc.) that reduce cholesterol synthesis also reduce CoQ synthesis. This can have devestating effects in some people.

Any nutritional textbook or biochemistry textbook should have a section on CoQ. You can also access all of the biomedical research on this molecule by going to Pubmed and doing an online search of Medline. A search of "Coenzyme Q10" yielded 1695 research papers!

Best wishes and good luck.

Its from plant foods. Statin drugs destroy it and this enzyme is responsible for reversing tissue damage.

You need to know what ORAC, Oxygen Free Radical Capacity means. How you test if an antioxidant actually works.

Most don't.

I found one that has been compared to over 90 other top selling antioxidant products and some of them have been found to be pro oxidative, like smoking a pack of cigarettes a day.

Want a comparison chart? The antioxidant that is the best has natural Cenzyme Q-10.

IM or e mail me. This took 27 million and 3 years of research to come up with this superior antioxidant of up to 12 hours of protection a day, which is unheard of.

Functional ingredients are not functional if they have already oxidized during processing and labeling. Which most end up non functional where people buy them because the label sounds like its a great product with a great idea, but it doesn't work.

From the purchase of your raw plant foods to the table is crucial. The longer your brocoli, which has cancer fighting antioxidants called phytochemicals and enzymes sits in the crisper, the more the plant breaks these healing antioxidants down. So, you have to eat fresh, which most people don't.

In the book, The Antioxidant Miracle, written by an MD, it states that 70% of all premature deaths are due to a lack of antioxidants.

Antioxidans keep cells from prematurely aging by keeping the cells from prematurely "rusting" or to oxidise. Oxidizing is rust or aging. Anti oxidize or anti rusting or anti aging is how crucial antioxidants are and they keep cancerous cells from forming by snuffing out free radical damage.
