You would have to drink a significant amount of juice to get the maximum health benefits. Antioxidants and phytonutrients break down and oxidize very quickly when exposed to oxygen, light, and heat. In fact, you can lose half the amount within 4 hours of cutting open the fruit or vegetable. To obtain the maximum amount, either eat it raw and fresh, or juice it yourself. Make sure you use a grinder, not a blender to extract the juice, again, you don't want to introduce oxygen into the juice.
