i just recently got my belly button peirced and it already got infected...There is a swollen red bump under the screw ball on top and hurts a bit...What is the best way to reduce the swelling because i took out my bellybutoon ring and is no to swolen to screw the ball on...and what is the best and fastest way to remove infection??? thnx in advance

Hey ive basically been an insomniac this summer and schools gonna start in a week from tomorrow. Ive been trying to get on a good schedule but nothing working. I try staying up till the next day and going to bed at 8p.m., doesnt work, I nearly O.D. on sleeping pills (not literally) and ive had my family go 'round punching me trying to knock me out (once again, not literally)


Is there some wierd remedy that works when you have trouble sleeping? any tips or tidbits appreciated!

also what is 'white noise' I dont remember where I heard it but I believe it has something to do with sleep.

hi there in a book i am writeing a char has been wounded in the upper calf the wound was stoped bleeding allmost stright away and the wound is not bleeding but is it very bad (clear though the leg) would this person go into shock remember there is no bleeding i have allready said in the story that there is no bleeding

I know that uing homeopathic remedies requires abstaining from coffee,black tea,cigarettes,chocolates,red meat etc. Please, will you tell me what other substances (medications) could hinder the effect of the remedy. I always take the homeopathic remedies at least 30 minutes before intake of whatever..Are there also articles about the interaction between homeopathic remedies and other substances? I want to do a full body detox cleanse. I have been so tired and sluggish lately, and need something to cleanse my system. I last did a cleanse about 4 months ago & it really helped, but they have since discontinued the product I used.
I am a 24 y.o female, moderately active lifestyle, in s. ontario. I eat mainly organic and healthy foods, no fast food at all. Walk my dog every day with my son. Am on a budget, and some cleanse programs I checked out are ridiculously expensive. I'd like to find something that won't cost me anything outrageous, and is affordable to do every 3 months or so.
I take a multi vitamin, B12, B6, and iron supplements.
I have IBS, and cleansing seems to help calm it down a lot, too.

Any info on how to do a really in depth, full detox would be fabulous. Thanks.

Are there any UK consultants using this? The BigPharma seem to be trying to supress its use. Any other info? There is a clinic in Mexico and lots of anecdotal info. I need some helpful info urgently.
Failing that any GPs or alternative practitioners in the UK or Europe? There was a study at Imps in 2000 which gave details (BBC) but nothing since. Please help...Thanks Mikey

What do you recommend? I get migraines, sinus, tension headaches and prob more...
Excedrin makes my heart race, maxalt and immitrex are expensive, so are massages. Motrin, aleve, ibupro., dont work, and I can't take sinus meds cause of reactions. Any ideas??
Would try alternative therapies too...

I really need as detailed an answer as possible concering the effects of a thyroid problem, how it could be treated without needing to use needles(getting blood taken) and if there are alternative ways of curing without frequent visits to a doctor or hospital. and what are the symptoms of a thyroid problem.
