i sing out loud...whether is sound good is a different story...=)

I'm not afraid when I am by myself or with animals or when singing with a large group of people. I don't like to draw attention to myself, I sing off tune a little bit, I don't have strong vocal cords, and to top it off I was rejected from singing in a church choir once by a perfectionist director. So, I like singing in the shower when no one is listening, singing around my pets, in my garden, and in my car.

I'm the same way. I can sing great and I never sing out loud when people are around unless it's at karaoke. I don't know why but your right...a lot of people are this way. Oh well.

Was once a singer
Okay,not too hard to listen to
Caused irreparable damage smoking for 45 yrs.
Still sing loud though even if is not too easy to listen to today.
Think there is moral there somewhere

Because honey, I CAN'T SING MY WAY OUT OF A WET PAPER BAG!!!! My singing voice sucks!!!! I can't even stand the sound of myself singing,so I knowwwwww other people couldn't. I try to save others the pain and anguish. lol

music is the way to the soul.
It's opening yourself up for the whole world to see. Music is about emotion.. that's what makes it sound good. You can hear the love in "wonderful Tonight" By Eric Clapton... You can hear the anger in Slipknot.
Alot of people are are told they are bad singers. People fear that rejection.
If you opened yourself up, and let all that emotion come out, and someone said you sounded like ****, would you wanna sing out loud?

Because their affraid of what other people might think. Im afraid to sing out loud lol. inside my head i judge people on if they suck at singing or not, and im afraid that people would do that to me.

Because many of us have terrible voices! And if we sing out LOUD, we'll ruin the tune!

Why the H-E -double hockey sticks not sing in public? Life's just to dam* short to worry about whether or not everyone is listening. i wish i could have followed this advice earlier in my life, maybe i'd be a different person....

Because they are scared that they will sound foolish and dumb. Most people are uncomfortble attracting lots of attention to them and singing loudly is a very easy way to so.

I'm not afraid, I just don't like singing and I suck at it. I sing with friends sometimes.
