It's not legal anywhere that I know of, not even in Amsterdam (Holland), although there, like in the rest of the country, the use and possession of small quantities will not be prosecuted. Formally, it's still illegal though.
In many countries including several US states, Marijuana is legal if used as medicine upon medical prescription.

Its legal in Amsterdam, but you can not just light up in the streets. Have to be in a hash bar.
You can carry it on you with no fear in small amounts. Canada is changing as they have a new Prime minister who is cracking down on there hash bars. Amsterdam is the place bring a lot of money the stuffs not cheap over there,but it will rock your world. just don't try to bring it home they frown on that big time.

Trust me on this one, it's not legal anywhere. The best you can hope for is non-enforcement like in the Netherlands. The next best thing is decriminalization which just means you'll get fined for possession instead of go to prison. Some of these countries are: parts of Australia, India, Nepal, Afghanistan, Morocco, and parts of the US too! Check out www.norml.org to see the current penalties for your state.

Amsterdam - a dutch community. i will advise you that it is highly illegal in Curacao which is also a dutch community.
