Oh do I have a testimony for this stuff! Ever since I was a child my knees dislocated at will. One day about 6 years ago my knee came out of place and I fell out my front door on it with it stuck to the side of my leg. I landed on my knee and wow was I HURT! I knew I couldn't be off for surgery as I do daycare and without my income we wouldn't survive. So I called around and spoke to someone at GNC who told me about Glucosomine/chondroiten and that the dosage was a maintainance dose and to double it. She also said that it wouldn't work immediately as our body has this in it naturally and this is just more. I took this and in about 3 weeks I had no pain. Not only did this stuff help my injured knee but my knees do not come out of place anymore! I use to not be able to walk for the arthritis in my knees and now have NO pain at all. Today I just take the normal dosage to maintain.

YES, my husband and I both take it and it really helps your joints and you sure feel better. I had a bone scan, and for about 6 months, had to take a prescription drug for my bones, but since then I had another scan, and my bones are fine! I have just been using the calcimine chondrite, and calcium supplements, and they also say green tea is excellent for your bones! People today don't seem to age like they use to due to so many things out there we have to help up with!

Try milk protein concentrate instead. It has much better long term effect. But it has to be taken in 2000mg.

Not sure if you understand the study below but oesteoathritis participants taking milk protein concentrate shows improvement up to week 6 whereby glucosamine sorta plataeu off after week 4.

Tried it but w/o results. However, with both cartilage removed and reconstructive surgery having been done, I really didn't expect much. I did, however, have some impressive results with magnetic therapy. If you e-mail the folks at PreventionProof.com, they can probably give you more detail as to how-n-why. Good luck!

It didn't help my arthritis, but exercise... walking, biking and yoga do help tremendously.
