Are you making lye soap? Glycerine?

Yes, peppermint is fine in bath soap. Dr. Bronner's has been making their castile soap (liquid and bars) in peppermint for years. It is very popular.

Probably your best results would be using the pure essential oil of peppermint, especially if you're working with glycerine. Some people like the little green flecks in their bar soap, though. Dried herb can be pulverized in a blender and added to your recipe. Be careful to not get it too strong of mint because it can irritate sensitive skin.
