I really need as detailed an answer as possible concering the effects of a thyroid problem, how it could be treated without needing to use needles(getting blood taken) and if there are alternative ways of curing without frequent visits to a doctor or hospital. and what are the symptoms of a thyroid problem. I need detailed answers so please don't just say i should ask a doctor. I'm looking for an alternative for my friend instead of her needing to go in every month to have blood drawn. Any assistance in pointing me to an alternative would be greatly appreciated, but please do not reply to say i should just ask a doctor and please try to give as much detail or a link to a related web page that might have more information. i want to thank any and everyone who can offer me assistance.

Chiropractic often has good effects on thyroid imbalances. The nerves and blood vessels that control the thyroid run through the vertebrae in your spine. If a vertebrae is out of alignment, it can pinch off the full flow to that organ. It becomes rather like a garden hose that gets a kink in it.

When this happens, the thyroid gland doesn't get all the nerve impulses or blood flow that it needs to function at full capacity. Shifting the vertebrae back into alignment can take the pressure off of the nerves and blood vessels and open up the channel for the thyroid to receive all it needs.

Here is my chiropractor's site. I have no idea where you might be so chances are this is not anywhere near you.

Why do so many people out there think you can cure medical conditions with a few herbs and a positive attitude . What you need is a good pathology lab., doctors and a hospital .. THERE IS NO ALTERNATE EASY WAY OUT . If you are sick you need real medical help not the local witch doctor or naturopath Didnt anyone tell you that you can die from some of these thing, or worse, look up CRETINISM in a dictionary or google. A malfunctioning thyroid can do some really SCARY thing s to your body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

With her doctors okay she might think of acupuncture. I know more needles! But it is not like that at all. The needles are small, yank out a hair off your head that is about the size of the needles they use. I went for a few different problems and they can do this relaxing thing that is amazing I fell asleep right there! I do not sleep much an average of 5 to 7 hours I just wake up and cant sleep any more. i never fall asleep in a room like that never.

An underactive thyroid (hypothyroidism) is usually treated by taking daily hormone-replacement tablets called levothyroxine.
Levothyroxine replaces the thyroxine hormone which your thyroid does not make enough of.
You will initially have regular blood tests until the correct dose of levothyroxine is reached. This can take a little while to get right.

You can treat by natural ways, my friend cured the disease through a e-book with natural methods and suitable for all people. you can refer to here: http://adola.net/go/hypothyroidismrevolution

Making dietary changes is your first line of defense in treating hypothyroidism. Learn here https://tr.im/2BfaV

Many people with hypothyroidism experience crippling fatigue and brain fog, which prompts reaching for non-nutritional forms of energy like sugar and caffeine. I’ve dubbed these rascals the terrible twosome, as they can burn out your thyroid (and destabilize blood sugar).

1. Just say no to the dietary bungee cord. Greatly reduce or eliminate caffeine and sugar, including refined carbohydrates like flour, which the body treats like sugar. Make grain-based carbohydrates lesser of a focus, eating non-starchy vegetables to your heart’s content.

2. Up the protein. Protein transports thyroid hormone to all your tissues and enjoying it at each meal can help normalize thyroid function. Proteins include nuts and nut butters; quinoa; hormone- and antibiotic-free animal products (organic, grass-fed meats, eggs, and sustainably-farmed fish); and legumes.

Try reading from this site...

I'm not so sure about the alternative medicine. I don't know what particular thyroid disease we're talking about. But my father had a surgery for his thyroids before; he got it removed. He told me it doesn't pose threat to his life if he got it removed. And so he did.
