I have tried for years to lose weight, but the more I try, the more I seem to gain. When I was young I was thin and active, I was also sick a number of times and the doctors put me on steriods, which made me gain weight. Never losing that weight I gained, I continued my active life. I think that the weight I gain are from steriods the doctors put me on. Not having insurance or the money to afford a doctor, I can not go to a doctor for help. What is the best way for a person like myself to lose weight?

Hi, I'm still in the process of determining if I should get a dental bridge. I did lose a front tooth, and I'd like to ask anyone out there in YahooAnswersLand that might have lost a front tooth and gotten a bridge:

Question : Can you tell the difference, with a dental bridge, that it's not your own tooth? This is hard to put into words, but does it feel normal, once you get the bridge in, or does it feel strange?
I know I'd have to be careful with it, and floss it all around, forever.

Question #2.. What about teeth whitening? Has anyone out there had their teeth whitened, and if so, which method is the best ?

I saw on the Net that I can send for the same basic system the dentist will use, for about 1/3rd the price.. But I don't know what strength of solution to buy? 16%, 22 % or 40 %, or the potential damage it could do to my teeth vis a vie sensitivity? Is there an on line whitening site that you trust?
Thanks everyone...

I've only used it for a month. Took out when it was time but missed it by three days for nest insertion. Should I put it on now or do I have to wait till next period? Also is it normal for spotting during use of Nuvaring?

My cousin tells me she bought it from a herb store and that it is completly natural. Shes taking it for weight loss, especially in her mid section. She heard about it from some girl at her college who claims it works. I am worried for her because shes always trying something new. has anyone heard of this plant, and has taken it for weight loss and actually lost weight from it? Thanks.

OK, this is eventually going to become a school project. I have made up a humorous artificial illness, Milk Disturbance Syndrome, that I would like to make appear as if based upon real or at least potentially real facts. We will be learning in class very shortly how to lie with statistics using wordplay, bias, etc.

SO. I figured that since the cholesterol in milk can block up arteries and stuff, it could 'theoretically' (in this fake illness) block the parts of the brain that release stress-calming hormones, thereby appearing to somewhat support the hypothesis that milk induces and worsens stress and, over time, would deteriorate one's health.

Can anyone help me with medical specifics to at least make it look like I'm supporting my theory with facts? GREATLY APPRECIATED! Anything you can do to help would be wonderful.

I am a 23 yr old female, 5'10'' and 190 lbs. In the past week I have started to be hungry all of the time, I drink like a fish and have to pee all of the time, although I have never wet the bed. I also am EXHAUSTED, even to te point of feeling "out of it." Like I am not sure whats going on because I am so tired, and I have no strength. Also, I have the really weird, "buzzing/ tingling" feeling that radiates through my face, chest, arms/fingers and legs/feet. It doesn't last a real long time, but it happens very frequently (at least in the last 3 days). Today, while at school (I teach) I thought I was going to pass out in the restroom. I just felt so tired, weak, and faint. I dont know what to do. If you have experienced this or have any good thoughts please , please let me know what it could be. I feel so weird and am nervous.
