First of all, you need to understand that weight lifting does not affect your height. This is an urban legend. Your genetics decide how tall you will be, so take a good look at your dad and add a few centimeters.

Body builders tend to look short because they are bulky, have broad shoulders etc, that does not mean they stopped growing because they lifted weights.

Training time should be around 2 hours a day and take at least 1 day off to allow your muscles and body to recover. Its the recovery that allows the body muscles to grow.
