Hi my friend asked me this today, and i didn't know the answer. I've always assumed this was true, but just to make sure I'm asking you. Thanks for the help :)

3500 calories is equal to a pound of fat or a pound of water or a pound of muscle. In any case the 3500 is a pound. If she loses 1 pound it could also be a mixture of water and fat. Down a big glass of water and that pound comes right back.

Last i checked you cant weigh calories, they are just a form of measurement
