I haven't slept for 48 hours due to an inflamed tooth. The problem is, I don't know which one it it is! All my teeth in the (affected) upper-right section of my mouth have a (deep) filling. So I guess a nerve is inflamed under one of them. X-ray didn't show anything, and the teeth don't react to the usual hot/cold/knocking stimuli. My dentist is at a loss too -- he did one root canal already and it turned out to be the wrong tooth, so I'd rather not venture down this path any further... The pain is getting worse by the hour, now it's even harder identifying the source, as I get these excruciating waves traveling along both my upper and lower jaw arc... All I want to find out is, which tooth is causing this, hopefully before the nerve dies and I get a gas gangrene! Ideas please?
