Love is something that all humans are in need of and all humans have that in common............

It would have to be biological necessities and some innate reactions. Because learned behaviour (religion, ego, greed, etc) is not universal.
So, I would say
Breathing Air
Ingesting of nutrients
Removal of waste from our bodies
Working organs
Having been 'concieved' or born
Then one could debate that certain instincts are universal, covered up only by learned behaviour or physical ailments
Fight or flight
Reproductive desire
If you want to be more general, emotions are also generally universal, again unless blocked by something either mental or physical
Fear
Anger
Happiness (even if fleeting)
Jealousy
There are no universal morals, and a host of other western ideas. We don't all believe in souls. We don't all need love to survive. Not all believe in the Christian idea that we are from Adam & Eve. Again, Western Cultural and Religious ideas that a Yanomami may not agree with. Or that an Atheist may not agree with. Or that a foster child may not agree with.

Maybe in order to understand mankind, we have to look at the word itself: "Mankind". Basically, it's made up of two separate words: "mank" and "ind". What do these words mean? It's a mystery, and so is mankind

We are all created equally. We all have the same color blood flowing through our bodies. We are all decedents from Adam and Eve. This makes us all brothers and sisters on some level.
