I am 28 and went off the pill 2 almost 2 months ago. I was on it for 11 years. My most recent period came a week and a half late and has lasted 2 1/2 weeks so far, still counting... Today I am experiencing severe abdominal pain, doesn't feel like cramps, feels strange and uncomfortable every time I stand up and walk, or first sit down. Not sure if this is a side effect of going off the pill, or if something else is happening. Any ideas???

Hey this is normal for some bodies, it depends on the Birth Control Pill.

Yes it may be the side effects of the pill. Relax and take a warm water dip in your tub.

If symptoms continues consult a doctor.

I agree with the first answer, you need to see a doctor, severe abdominal pain is not normal and needs to be checked out.
