My son is not terribly overweight, as in he's not obese, however, he is near the top of the weight chart for his age. He doesn't eat hardly any junk food, he is active, plays baseball, rides bikes, skateboards, runs. I don't buy fast food just because I simply can not afford it, except for maybe once every other month or sometimes even longer. I don't want to put him on a "diet" or at least not tell him he's on one. He is self consious about his stomach. I just don't want him to get to the point of where his weight interfers with stuff every 10 year should be doing. His doctor hasn't said anything about it. Although I have just very recently (as of last week) switched doctors. I'm more concerned with his overall health status and overall well being.

I got into an aarguement with my stepmother today because she said i child will end up with a boiled brain if they have a fever of 105 or higher. i said thats not true. The reason for the arguement is b/c my sister took my neice to the hospital last night and they obviously didnt say anything....is she being rediculous again or is there some truth to it. Any responses are greatly appreciated.

I am very self conscious about my weight. I am not fat, but I am extremely careful about what I eat, and obsess about it a lot...
Most of the time I eat really good, but sometimes I go through spells where I can't stop eating. I eat until I feel sick. I know it is not good for me. If I know it is going to give me results I don't want, and I know it makes me feel sick, why do I do it?

I sit at a desk all day and I'm always SO exhausted by the end of the day, even though I haven't done anything. I get daily headaches/neck/backaches and see a chiropractor once a week... I'm only 22 years old! I get 6-8 hours of sleep at night, fairly regular excercise, drink tons of water and have a pretty balanced diet. I've been tested for anemia and thyroid problems. (Negative results) I don't feel sad, so I don't think I'm depressed, and usually if I play a little softball or go on a bikeride, I get energy in the evening. Do I just need to look for a job where I'm not sitting at a desk all day?

I said that they would have to have some sort of safeguard i.e. 12,24 months of proven control. Otherwise if she had a hypo mid air, people could sue the airline. I know they are not allowed to discriminate but maybe as a safety issue they would not employ her. If anyone works for an airline and knows the answer to this i would be really grateful.
