i am recently getting over a cold... but i haven't been blowing my nose for a a day or two nose yet i'm still getting them... is this something that i should be worried about or see if it goes away with the cold????

What is the exact different between a regular bruise and a muscle contusion (bruise). I know that a bruise you can obviously see. I'm asking because I went to the emergency room Thurday night and thought I had fractured my thumb, but they didn't even take x-rays, and just ruled it off as a muscle contusion, gave me a splint and said it should be better within about 5 days. Well it's been 5 days, and still hurts really bad. There's no visible bruising and very minimal swelling. What do I do. Should I go get a second opinion or wait it out? If I find out that it is fractured, what do I do about the hospital?

my doctor put me on prozac, and i am scared to death, i have heard soooo many bad things about it. But my doctor told me to trust her,I know that everone is different, but i am still scared. i was on lexapro it was working really good for me, except for the fact that i was always depressed in the mornings up till 3pm or so. yesterday was my last day of lexapro and last night i took my first prozac, my doctor also has me on a small amout of seroquil for sleep and alprazolam for anxiety sice day one. i do feel differernt today, my question is what is prozac suppose to make you feel? please i want to know if i am feeling is right.
i feel like i just want to craw in bed and sleep all day, but at the same time i feel like. I have a whatever feeling inside of me. it's like I want to say whatever about everything, i don't feel like taking care of my responabilities but i know that i have too. have u ever been on prozac and what does it make u feel like? thank u , i'm just scared

How soon after removal of the ring does your period start? I have only been using this for about 3 months, the first was right after my daughter was born so i didnt want to base my opinion on that "first period". The next month it took a couple of days to come and I am wondering if this is the norm and what i should be expecting each month. Any other experiences would be helpful.

I have trifocal vision, an astigmatism, am nearsighted, 55 yrs. old, and fed up with glasses.

I talked with someone who said it's not guaranteed I'll have normal vision after the procedure, and still might have to wear glasses of some sort. Only for reading I could deal with but not glasses I'd have to wear all the time. It would defeat the purpose.

I will research this more, yet hoped for input from someone who's had laser surgery with vision simular or the same as (trifocal) mine. From the horses mouth so to speak. Are there any optometrists who might be online who can advise? Knowledgeable or experienced answers please.

I'm worried about someone, and I found this pill which I think she may have dropped. It is a very small, white pill with a letter "G" on one side, and on the other side there are the letters "TO" with the number "25" beneath it. I'm going to get contacts this weekend, so I practiced touching my eyes with my finger(I washed my hand of course). It was after I realized it could be a problem and idiotic thing to do. Now my eyes are being felt like it's watery and a bit uncomfortable(sometimes little pain not too brutal). Will I go blind now, did i damage my eyes is this permanent, or will it heal. Should I still get contacts?...

I went through "Should I punch myself in the face" parts 1, 2 and 3, but strangely I'm not satisfied. It just feels old... I want to up the ante, increase the danger level, so that I can feel alive again.

I'm still working out how I'm actually going to kick myself in the face, but when I do, I think it will be worth it (if you guys do indeed tell me to kick myself in the face).
