I know they are not the same but if one is meditating is it possible that they could astral project if they are deep enough in meditation? I guess it would take years or a lifetime to be able to get to that point. The reason why I'm asking is that I want to learn to meditate but do not wish to astral project.

My doctor mentioned I might want to get tested for this two weeks ago (back when I thought I was having another kidney stone). I didn't think much of it then, but I've done a little more research, and it's starting to make more sense as a cause of this pain.

Anyone out there have it? How is it diagnosed? If you have it, how are you treating it? Have you been able to have children?

I appreciate your insights.

I'm 27 and have had depression for 10 years. 3 months ago I started psychotherapy and the main thing I have realised is that I'm not as close to my dad as I thought. My mum died when I was 6 and although I have always said it made my dad and I really close, I've been lying to myself. He remarried when I was 11. I have never had a bad relationship with my stepmum but I think that was when I started to lose him.

Over the years I have tried to talk to him but he doesn't listen. Frequently he will pick up a paper and start reading it whilst I am talking. When I have tried to tell him about my depression he doesn't take me seriously and tells me to pull myself together. When I told him recently I have been self harming he just asked why I would do something so stupid.

I now see that most of the decisions I have made about my life have been to try to make him proud.

I've asked him to meet me to talk about how I am feeling and he is but I'm scared of pushing him further away.

I've known her since we were babies. We are now 25. It was a self inflicted gunshot to the head, but they are suspecting it was an accident. Either way, its hard to digest and I feel like I'm in a constant fog. Is there anything I can do to deal with this pain, other than drug myself into oblivion?

I always knew that pap tests for HPV were an important part of visiting the gynocologist, and that the virus could lead to cervical cancer.

What I did not know (perhaps foolishly, but I was never told this) is that HPV is a sexually transmitted disease. What is worse is that men can easily be carriers of this disease and never know, because there are no symptoms and they are not tested for it. So a man carrying this disease can pass it on to women unknowingly. And because women infected with HPV also have no symptoms, you will not know if you have it unless you are tested regularly. This is a big deal because it can lead to cancer.

A friend of mine is dealing with this right now and I was shocked to learn how easily it can be transmitted without anyone ever detecting it.

Get tested, ladies. Cancer is no joke. And cervical cancer can prevent you from having children. You should be having a Pap test for HPV once every year.

Bit of a special question. A 10yo friend of the son of my housekeeper got struck by a very rare cancer, that they say only 30 people in the world are known to have had it. The doctors are calling to hospitals around the world to see if there's an oncologist who has had a case like this and has the experience of how to deal with it.
If by any chance or huge coincidence there's a doctor on YA : here's a description of the cancer like I heard it : he's got a tumor in the brain, with a metastasis on the spine and behind his left eye ball. The cancer is not transported by the blood and does not affect organs. If anyone has an idea... (and plz, if you don't have anything serious to say, then don't say anything). Thx

I am currently a stay at home mother of two small babies. I want to take courses online to get a diploma so in a year and a half, when my mother retires, she can watch my kids and I can go back to work. My husband and I live off one income and it is really hard. I am looking into taking courses to become a medical office assistant. They offer you a diploma if you take all the courses and pass them. I already have my AA degree.
What I am wanting to know is that, will I be able to get a job with just an AA degree and a Diploma for Medical office assistant????
I want to work in the office of a Doctor, Hospital, or clinic.
I want a career, a good one, when I go and try to find a job.
Please give me your input.
Thanks.

I was seeing a dentist & had a bad feeling about him. It felt like I was in a used car dealership. I was getting the "Do this today & only today & save $100" talk. I was told I needed Peridontal Scaling $1080, had 3 cavities & needed 2 crowns. I did the initial exam & xrays which cost $200 & I also did the Peridontal Scaling because he told me I had early stages of gum disease. I was scared so I did it. I was getting ready to get the cavities filled & could not call him. I disliked him that much. So, I found a new dentist. I just got back from my appt. He did x-rays, a thorough exam of each tooth & even pictures. I have 1 cavity he said. Nothing else. He said everything is in good shape. Why would one dentist tell me I have 3 cavities & need 2 crowns & another say everything is great besides needed a single filling. Would you call the other dentist? or Better Business Bureau? or get a 3rd opinion? I am confused.

I am wanting to take online courses. If I complete and pass all the courses I would get a Diploma in Medical office assistant. I already have my AA degree which I got a couple of years ago. So if I get a Diploma, will I be able to get a job with it. Or are doctors offices, hospitals, clinics, wanting you to have something else???
I'm really hoping you'll tell me that all I need is my AA degree and a Diploma in Medical office assistance to work in the office of one of the places I listed.
Let me know please.
