During fever, our body is in a self repair mode, so the useful energy to us is less and V feel tired. It is best advised to have very light food like fruits during fever so that there is no extra burden on the digestive system.

Fever is raised body tempature, as you would run a race, you get tired= same thing.

You need to stay hydrated and sleep. That fever is burning up infections and is working for you most times, so if its only 99 or 100, then let it work for you. Cover up and sweat it out.

Sleeping and drinking water and eletrca lite enhanced drinks will assist you getting better sooner. Eat if you want, keep it simple and easy to digest and well balanced meals . I often just keep it all liquid protein or veggie, fruit juices.

Your body needs a lot of rest when you're dealing with illness or infection. People need plenty of rest and fluids to recover.
