My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

Not eating will not help you lose weight at all. When you skip meals it sends your body into a form of shock. When that happens, and you actually do eat, your body turns more of that food into fat, because it doesn't know when you will eat again. And your body stores fat as a means of reserve energy. If you want to lose weight faster, and healthier you should actually eat more often. Instead of three large meals a day, you should eat 5 small meals a day. Nothing big, really. A small salad, some fruit, or vegetables. And for three of your meals have it balanced. A small helping of meat, some starches (like a baked potato with minimal toppings). As you eat smaller meals, your stomach will get smaller, so that it doesn't take as much to fill you up, and your metabolism will sky rocket because your body will not be afraid of burning off that extra fat. When you take these small meals every day, and work out for at least 30 minutes a day, you will slim down in no time. It's never easy to lose weight, but once you get yourself into a routine, you'll be amazed at how it just works its way into your every day lifestyle. Oh and by the way, don't listen to these people on the "no card diet". It's true that it works to lose weight, but your body needs carbohydrates to function. I know several people that took the "no carb" route, and ended up in the hospital when they came too. Your body will be weaker, and you will wake up in a hospital. It's true that you will lose weight, but at what cost? Good Luck!

Not eating is not the solution and you really won't lose much that way and just make yourself more hungry to the point that when you do eat, you'll eat more than you should and gain more weight!
You have to keep your body in a balance and not go from one extreme to another. You should do something that will not throw your body out of whack and yet you lose the weight you desire to.
At present I am on my first day of the cabbage soup diet. It is a rapid weight loss diet that you only do for one week. Then eat regularly for two weeks and then go back on it if you want to.
Here is the website for it to check it out:
www.cabbage-soup-diet.com/eating-plan.html
or
just goggle it and check it out and type in "cabbage soup diet"
Click on the one that has the 7 day plan in it.

Not eating won't help you lose weight. Your body will slow down to hold on to it's reserves. So eat and exercise and drink plenty of water.

The water diet. Drink only water for a day, but if you start to feel sick and tired and can't take it any more STOP. You might pass out possibly.

Use one of super colon cleanse systems. It will flush out waste in the colon. Aaaaah stay home for that day; don't go to work.
