i am an adult with a family of my own, but my father is schizophrenic and has been off his meds for a while. he is acting wierd and talking crazy and has been hanging out with a guy just as nutty as he is and they seem to feed off eachother, well he sometimes says things to people that are offensive and maybe not even intended to be and i am scared he will say something to someone that doesn't know him and they might hurt him. my sister and i try to tell him to take his pills but he won't and we cannot have him taken to a mental hospital because he has to admit himself or be considered a danger by the police or proper authorities. we want to help him but we don't know how. any ideas? please, thank you

I just had a nosebleed for like an hour. I used to get them all the time, this is the first one i had in a long time though. one of my doctors told me i have a lack of phosphorus in my system, but yet i think its because i fell off the bleachers and landed on my nose when i was in high school.

Anyways some say to hold the bridge of the nose, or pinch the soft part. I usually hold the soft part, the bridge of my nose hurts otherwise, and look up or down? I look down because i dont want the blood to run down my throat. That would make me vomit. Soooo.... any sugestions? ----thanks!

My friend is having a problem with their rectal crease and rectum(inside the butt)
They have been experiencing severe rectal itch,burning and
aching.When they wipe their is a strong vinegar smell and it gets hot and throbbing if its not washed daily.Could this be a yeast infection???or hemmorioids...and what can they do for it??

his diabetic medicine. He is a retired firefighter up in New England and his wife states things are very tight and they are not always able to get his medication. My question is, does anyone know of any organization that might be able to help them? Another friend suggested calling Humana, but she had never heard of it, so I can only guess its not offered in her area. She said he doesn't qualify for medicaid, which, personally, if you are retired and disabled, you should qualify. Any & all suggestions will be appreciated.

What is it about Nyquil that makes me so drowsy and puts me to sleep? I know there is alchohol in it, but I can consume a LOT more alchohol than that and not be that tired. Is there something else in it that makes people tired? Also, is it bad to take it when I don't need it? Sometimes, if I am upset or just can't sleep for some reason I will take it to help me fall asleep. I took it every night for a week when my bf broke up with me. Is that pretty bad?

I have had this re-occurring problem of yeast infections and UTI's. I have been told that the pain is coming from my gallbladder. Gallstones is suppose to be the cause of the pain. Anyone out there with a similar problem. What causes gallstones?

I have no problem achieving an erection...the problem is it takes me FOREVER to ejaculate. Any idea why I am so insensitive? It has not always been this way but I feel like it is getting worse. It has diminished my sex drive big time because I feel horrible about putting her through this.

Hi, My name is Taylor, I am a 14 year old boy. And I feel kinda self-consious about my weight. It seems every boy in my grade is either fit or at least chubby, So I feel kinda displaced. Anyways I weigh 110 even, And I am around 5'7. So can anyone give me a healthy diet & a good way to work out so I can be at a normal weight. And be healthy because I really don't eat that well.
