My wife had a tummy tuck and breast lift three weeks ago. The doctor (in Colombia) has been using laser treatment to reduce scarring. Now that she is coming back home are there any good products for reducing cosmetic surgery scars? I just saw an ad on TV for Mederma. Has anyone used that or some other product? Were they useful?

in 1979 i fell in the hallway of my school and broke my two front teeth off at the gums, I had temporary "posts" implanted into the bone but these posts have since loosened and fell out, leaving an open hole straight to the bone. I also had my wisdom teeth pulled a few years back and the Oral surgeoon chipped the 4 surrounding teeth next to the wisdoms and now they are broken off at the gums as well. I have learned to deal with the pain without using orajel or anything (which i have used an abundance in the past)
The companies I have worked for in the past didnt cover anything becuase it was pre-existing conditions and i do not have the cash to pay for Dental work but know this cannot be done without I.V Sedation and Gas. TODAY i woke up and my top lip is very swollen and I have pain up to the bottom of my nose and cannot afford to goto the dentist. My teeth have been broken off at the gums for years but I dont have insurance. Im afraid of bone cancer. suggestions?

My wife is bipolar and is a rapid cycler. She was taking lithium, but had a toxic reaction (her third) and went off it. She's still on Cymbalta, but her moods are more extreme than ever. Even when she's stable on meds, it's so hard to know what to expect on a minute to minute basis. How do others cope? What do you tell grandchildren about her moods? Serious answers only, please.

If so, what do you find is the best method for coping with stress in your life? I mean, it's summer, I should be completely stress-free. But trust me, school wasn't my only cause of stress.

So yeah, just if you have any good ways of coping with stress/calming yourself down I'd like to hear them. Thanks

CLOAK OF LAUGHTER

I WEAR A CLOAK OF LAUGHTER
LEST ANYONE SHOULD SEE
MY DRESS OF SORROW UNDERNEATH
AND STOP TO PITY ME

I WEAR A CLOAK OF LAUGHTER
LEST ANYONE SHOULD GUESS
THAT WHAT IS HID BENEATH IT
IS LESS THAN HAPPINESS

BUT, AH, WHAT DOES IT MATTER
TO YOU WHO ARE SO WISE?
MY CLOAK FALLS TATTERED AT MY FEET
BEFORE YOUR TENDER EYES.

FOR CLOAKS TO COVER SORROW
ARE MEANT FOR STRANGER FOLK
ONE CANNOT HIDE AWAY FROM FRIENDS
BENEATH A LAUGHING CLOAK

OH, FUTILE CLOAK OF LAUGHTER,
HOW FRAIL YOU ARE AND THIN!
LOVE LOOKS THROUGH YOU SO EASILY
AND SEES THE GRIEF WITHIN.

Ok so I went 2 camp 4 a week w/ some of my friends. One of my friends turned out 2 be very annoying. It was all so new 2 me and that's why my IBS was bothering me. So she goes and tells counselors that I'm not eating and they start giving me bananas and Imodium and checking up on me all the time. She also tried 2 tell me how 2 eat and what was healthy. I don't think that was right of her 2 try and tell me what 2 eat when I have the stomach problems and she doesn't even eat right in the first place. I don't want everybody thinking I'm anorexic cuz that's happened b4 and I was annoyed 2 pieces. Can anybody w/ IBS give me advice on how 2 feel relief w/ this? Has anybody ever been accused of being anorexic?

Is there any significance in where plaque collects on your teeth? Two of my teeth on the top left hand side seem to get a LOT of plaque on them all the time, even when I brush twice a day. Is this something I should be concerned about, or do I just ignore it?

I'm serious. It is humiliating. Every so often I get hormone imbalances and I turn into an emotional depressed freak. I try to have mind control and be normal...but I'm like an emotional rollercoaster. That's why I hate being human.
