Ok so I went 2 camp 4 a week w/ some of my friends. One of my friends turned out 2 be very annoying. It was all so new 2 me and that's why my IBS was bothering me. So she goes and tells counselors that I'm not eating and they start giving me bananas and Imodium and checking up on me all the time. She also tried 2 tell me how 2 eat and what was healthy. I don't think that was right of her 2 try and tell me what 2 eat when I have the stomach problems and she doesn't even eat right in the first place. I don't want everybody thinking I'm anorexic cuz that's happened b4 and I was annoyed 2 pieces. Can anybody w/ IBS give me advice on how 2 feel relief w/ this? Has anybody ever been accused of being anorexic?

I have IBS and for me cutting out dairy made a huge difference. pay attention to what you eat. your body will tell you what it needs and doesn't need. It doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about you! You know who you are, be strong!

I have IBS myself and when stressed you can have a more worse case of it.....relieven your stress honey, believe me, it will help you out alot. Also, possibly counseling might help you to know how to relax, I had diahhrea for 1 1/2 years solid and all of a sudden when I got out of the stress it stopped.

I work for a doctor's office, and although I don't work for a gastric doctor, I know that if you take lactos free medication, even though you are not lactos intollerant, it should help.
