If you notice these symptom after you eat something, best advise is to omit these items from your diet. You didn't say how old you were, whether or not you lie down after eating, if you are overweight etc. If you are being treated for gerd, for sure do not lie down on an empty stomach, and most physicians suggest that you raise the head of your bed 4 inches so you get no reflex (or less anyway) when you sleep. And for sure, don't go to be on a full stomach. Erosion of the esophagus leads to scarring, and in later life, difficulty in swallowing. This area then has to be stretched mechanically under a general. Treat your gird and excess stomach acids with OTC drugs or script ones, and avoid foods that have adverse effects.....Helpful?

You need to have a full medical workup to rule out hypertension and other easily diagnosed conditions. You may also want to have a full audiological work up to rule out ear problems that may result in dizziness and tinnitus (ringing in the ears). There are certain conditions that can be exacerbated by the things you eat and drink and all of this needs to be looked at closely. Let your family doctor coordinate the appropriate tests and specialists. Make that call today.

I have vertigo and I have alot of the symptoms that you have. I'm really dizzy and my ears ring all of the time. You need to see a doctor as soon as you can. If it is vertigo or a blood pressure issue, there's medication that can help.

ears ringing and dizziness can mean that you might have vertigo which is caused by 1. an ear problem, 2. an eye problem, or 3. a neurologic problem.
Also, check your cholesterol. if its high, you might have a problem. You might be in danger of heart condition, a stroke, a vascular problem.

You failed to mention the real reason for your problem. Stop smoking the chronic!! You won't get the munchies and you will no longer have the urge to eat nasty McDonald's food. The excessive bong hits might also have something to do with your ears ringing and the dizziness and the rapid heartbeat. Think about it dude! QUIT GETTIN' STONED!!!

Have your blood pressure checked or you could be suffering from vertigo. Acid Reflux can do it too. Fatty foods can take longer to digest and blood is directed towards digestive processes. This can cause dizziness if there is a sudden movement.

Ignore all the answers here except Swan Silver.
She is right on the button. I have Gerd too. You need either OTC treatment or script meds.
Lay off the greasy foods. The Chinese call that feeling "Yeet Hay." Get your BP checked too.
And stop eating that crappy fast food. When will people learn that Ray Krok was a genocidal assassin.

You should definitely see a doctor. I am only a pre-med student, but I think you may want to get your cholesterol checked. Make sure you tell your doctor how long the pain lasts, if there is anything you can do that makes it stop, and if it happens at any other time (e.g. exercise)
